The game is good, not too hard to keep the chains up and such. Shinies and Albinos are annoyingly hard to get, and the Market prices are just insane sometimes. But it makes up for that in good-quality heart and genuine quaintness. One thing I found to be comical at best and extremely hypocritical at worst was that the site is adamantly against swear words of any kind. The anti-swearing policy isn't the problem for me, it's actually a good idea. Yet, in the (what do we call it, the tagline?) place at the bottom of someone's post on a forum where most people put other links and such, Niet has a link that contradicts this completely. It seems to be one of those "give a hug" click-type things, but instead of a hug it's a "damn". Kind of an off-putting thing when the site will ban you for swearing but the admin of the whole thing has it proudly displayed. That's my two cents, anyway. Have a nice day and all that jazz.

Thank you for the feedback, but this isn't the 19th century anymore - "damn" is hardly a swear these days ;) We have never banned anyone for swearing. Warned, yes. Banned, no. And even then, only for actual swearing, not "damn". That's not profanity. Its use is widespread and it's even used as a substitute for actual swearing. I hope you understand.

The game is pretty good to me, although I believe nothing is perfect. It can still improve in many different ways. One way is that they could add more content to the game. To me, it can get a little boring sometimes waiting for eggs to hatch or doing other things similar to that. I also enjoy the events that they have! The custom pokemon sprites on this site are amazing. This website is amazing. <3

The play is good and the art is wonderful but it has a particular mod that is not only rude but feels it is okay for them to be rude because they are a mod. Instead of coming in a simply asking a few questions they come in with am assuming attitude, guns blazing then wonder and scratch their head as to why people respond to them defensively and try to make excuse after excuse instead of admitting they could have handled the situation better. I may still show up from time to time but I don’t particularly feel welcome or safe around an uneducated and uncontrollably ill tempered person in power. Thank you

If you have a problem with a mod, we have a procedure for that. Please contact Garthic. As you were directed to do by the allegedly "rude" mod in question. We can't resolve the issues if you don't use the resources we provide to help resolve those issues.

I only recently started, but already I love this site. The community base is so helpful and kind! Many times when I've made a forum post looking to buy things, some people have even sent the pokemon or items free of charge! Every time I had a question that I couldn't find in the Wiki, I always got a response in less than one or two hours! I've been on all kinds of sites similar to this and sim sites, but most of the other communities have some level of toxicity. However, I don't see that anywhere on this site. The players are helpful, the staff interact with the user base without being contacted first, and it isn't too hard to gather all types of currency, thanks to it being able to be traded and transformed. I've read a few reviews, with one of the most common complaints being the site layout. Personally, I had a lot of fun trying to find out where stuff was and how everything works.

I made my account on PF1 8 years ago, and actively played on the site for many years. I really liked the whole "market" aspect of it, as I never spent a dollar and eventually worked my way to having approximately $300 worth of rare items and pokemon really made me proud. I stopped playing slightly after the release of PFQ because the website was real new, and had almost nothing on it, so it felt rather boring, and PF1 was on a decline because of the announcement of switching over. Coming back, I''m not pleased with some of the changes to be honest. "Pay to win": While I know PF1 had many of the same aspects of what you could get by paying, PFQ feels like not paying isn't much of an option. With long chain bonuses to those with hypermode, they can get fields upon fields of shiny, albino, and melanistic pokemon far easier than lose of us trying to get one with just our pokeradar with a far lower shiny chance. The work was worth the effort on PF1, as all shiny pokemon seemed to hold atleast some rarity, whereas in PFQ, many seem to be valued at 35-80 GP. your scours can get you GP far faster than it'll take you to try to hunt a shiny at that value. Tournament Tokens: Fun idea, but they kinda just reward those who have been playing since release, and not those who are new. It'll take months upon months to get enough tokens to get all the fakemon eggs you're behind on. Staff: The thing I see people complain the most about is the staff being rude, and quick to start using their powers. I know I've had my fair share in experiences with it. On PF1, I was permanently banned (which after a while of back and fourth and rude responses from the staff member who banned me, was finally unbanned) for "multi-accounting" because my twin brother and I shared a birthday. We were told how rare it is for people to be twins, so we just had to be multi-accounting. That experience for me was my first big insight that nothing you own on this website is yours, and that the staff can take it away for what seems like any reason. What awes me the most is how many issues people have with the staff, and seemingly none of them are ever made to change their behavior, or face any sort of punishment or warnings as to any of their wrongdoings. I would like to note the staff member who banned me for being a twin, and was rude to me, and my parents in support, is still a staff member today. Resolving staff issues should be a first priority considering they're supposed to represent your site and keep it under control. I've seen too many occasions where staff are rude to new members for "not having a brain", which is the exact opposite of helping grow a community. Biased ratings: As someone with experience in the field of statistics, I can tell you these ratings are going to be skewed up, which can clearly be seen. Having a user's name show alongside their rating is a terrible idea for honest feedback. Users aren't going to want to rate poorly as it may single them out in the community, and they may fear being punished by the staff (the very same staff team addressed above). I know I'm expecting some sort of punishment from a staff member for posting a bad review, and addressing poor staffing in it. For the site's developer, the skewed statistics that represent the site are great because it mostly only sheds the website in a positive light. I can get why he'd want to keep it that way, but it's very misleading to new members. Ratings should be anonymous, and only tied to your account for say, the admins to see, and only for when a rule is broken in a rating. I really liked the concept, and had fun playing the game way back when. I feel that now the game isn't something to put time into, because you won't nearly get as much out of it as you put into it. Overall, definitely not worth it in my opinion. Join a sport, learn a new trick, play another game, do something that you'll get more out of from.

This game is great! Although I wish it was possible to be able to exchange gold Poke for Zophan Canisters, and poke for credits, you still have to make money, right?

I gotta admit this has to be a great game over all while I do wish there was a few things added to it like the ability to interact with them like the pokemon-amie in the X and Y series or play with them like you would in "Hay you Pikachu", while that would be nice I'm pretty sure it's probably hard to code that stuff and make the models in and it actually work with out taking so much CPU and Ram on your servers the game is still great.. then again I don't really know.. I like most of the shinnies the melansticks the deltas the new megas and the fakemon I honestly can't wait to see what you guys do next
