A+++ great way to pass the time

I really enjoyed playing this and the fan Megan’s are always fun but It is really hard to progress through the game without spending money

I really love that in this game you really have the potential to "catch them all", while in the actual games, that's more than likely never the case without cheats. I like the way the Interaction system works, and the layout of peoples' pages makes it easier to click on their Pokemon (compare it to the site Pokeheroes, where it's more of a chore to interact with other peoples' Pokemon) and that the field interactions are counted among the clicks. I wish the fishing minigame could be more interactive, maybe with a technique to it where you have to click specific points, and I wish that stuff like the Voltorb Flip, for example, would be easier to access (i.e. appear on the Tabs rather than have to go on a metaphorical quest to find it to play it) All in all, I'd say it's pretty fun, when you're in the mood to interact with Pokemon and hatch eggs, and hope for a fun Summon item to appear in random Boxes :)

I love it! it's really fun

I loved playing Pokemon when I was a kid, much like literally every other person on this site and tons more that aren't on here yet. But I'm not a kid anymore and I've done a lot of growing up since that first cyndaquil stole my heart. I don't have the time to sit on a GBA or a DS for hours at a time anymore, and for a while I forgot how much I loved Pokemon. I had forgotten how much time I'd spent coming up with stories of my own Pokemon adventure, building bonds with Pokemon that I loved in game and bringing them to life with my imagination. I'd forgotten how the shared interest of Pokemon had helped me be closer to my sisters when we were kids or how we'd have real life adventures romping around the woods or in open fields while we pretended to battle each other or train our (invisible) Pokemon. I'd forgotten because I grew up. So imagine my surprise when, about two years ago, I stumbled upon this site after trying to find some odd trivia relating to Pokemon. I'd snooped around the site for a little bit, clicked some parties, looked at art, etc. and decided that even if I could only come on the site for a couple minutes each day, getting back into Pokemon was something that I definitely wanted to do. Even though I left the site for almost a year for personal reasons, I came back and got right back into the game like I'd never left. I'm not quite sure what exactly it is that makes this game so fun even though the mechanics are basic (once you get the hang of it, I mean). I think the nostalgia definitely helps, but Pokefarm adds so much more to the experience and in such a different way than the actual games that it's its own thing. The small competitions hosted by the site every week and month are fun but in a different way than sitting down and playing one of the actual games for hours on end. Pokefarm is definitely more about the Pokemon community and our love for hatching and raising Pokemon than the original games. It's more personal in a way. It lets you connect with people that love Pokemon just as much as you do in a way that the DS games never did. Even aside from reviving my love for Pokemon, this site has helped me connect with people and improve my art skills. When I started an art shop, I wasn't really expecting much to come of it. But now here I am, a couple months in, and my art has improved since the beginning. In a sense, Pokefarm's forums are what made me try new styles and break out of the habit of only drawing one thing. Drawing for other people makes you want to do more than what you usually do, and Pokefarm is what allowed me to do it. This ended up being a lot longer than I intended, so I'll keep the conclusion short. Pokefarm is a fun and simple game that you can play between assignments (or during, if you're daring enough) that revived my love for Pokemon while also not being a huge commitment. If you're thinking about joining, do it. If you don't you're missing out.

I love the way you guys monetize the game, its really fair and balanced. I like that gold can be earned from chests and contests. I also like that there is a healthy player base that keeps currency exchange alive and well. I like also that the marketplace doesn't suffer from too much inflation and its pretty stable most of the time. I also like that the game is bug-free (as far as I have seen) :) good job on that! My only gripe with the game is the severe lag when too many users are online and interacting. Especially on bonus days. It gets pretty bad. I kinda look forward to those days when multiple bonuses are active, only to be turned off by everything slowing to a crawl.

Fun I love trading pokes. But I also love the challenge and saving my gp. I understand that you need to keep the site up and having premium features up keeps the site running. Overall the site is fun to play for me.

I haven’t played this game for a full year yet, but I definitely love it! I’ve been addicted to it from the start and now I’m almost ready to get my first legendary! I definitely recommend this game to any Pokémon lovers who want more than just collecting Pokémon!

The only reason I haven't given PokeFarm a full 5/5 is because the learning curve is *very steep* The tutorials are helpful, but generally do not go into the depth of all of the features on the site. Clicking around can also only get you so far, and starting up can be a bit tedious. My best suggestions to combat this is to find you a friendly oldbie! Someone, somewhere, will have "feel free to PM me!" in their profile, and there you go. I was sort of told how to use the marketplace, what to sell and what to shoot for and all of a sudden the quality of my playtime here rocketed! It seems like anyone who was around when a new feature appeared has the up-and-up, and they are most often willing to help you understand them. :)
