This is an amazing game. You could improve it if you let the trainers choose which move their Pokemon does in battles.(Options to click)

This is a very advanced Pokèmon game, I love it except for one small issue. I recently obtained enough to buy a Ditto but when I went to get it, I couldn't as it said I needed the Eggdex for it. Well it says on the wiki that you can purchase a Ditto egg for Credits (which is what I was trying to do) or a Ditto Voucher. So how am I supposed to get the Eggdex for a Ditto if I can't even get the Ditto? Other than that issue (along with wishing I could adopt more eggs from my Nursery and the Shelter XDD) I love this!! I love how you can evolve, train, plant your own berries, fish even! It's great! I just wish that getting a Ditto wasn't a problem (Unless I'm doing something wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm not.). I'd love to see some other things the site will have in the future!

The Wiki is basically run by the users, and may sometimes be out of date. In the case of Ditto, you will need the Voucher, which you can get as a rank-up reward.

This is one of two games that really hooked me in my search for collecting games, the mechanics are generally very tidy and well made/managed. The tutorial isn't overbearing, complicated, or particularly drawn out which may be one of the reason I've been here more than a few days. Overall the game feels very smooth and just as complete as the official games. The people on this site are generally very open and accepting, in my own experience. It generally just feels like a safe place and community, which is sometimes difficult to find on the internet. Overall, I only have one thing I think is annoying and one thing I miss. I'm always annoyed that I can't check when the pokemon in the daycare can evolve, though I'm unsure of if it can actually be coded in such a way considering the button to check when they can evolve is also the button to evolve them. I was disappointed to see the beautiful artwork attached to some pokemon disappear, but it's understandable since such a task is a massive workload when there are so many pokemon.

So after playing for a while, I guess it’s time to post a review. I like the site, as well as the fact that it’s still changing and improving. The sprites of the new gen pokemon are also drawn by scratch, which I really love, and how weekly tournaments give the option to get exclusives, which have an amazing concept. But to make it easier, let me list down the positives and negatives that I’ve noticed. + like said, the sprites of the new gen pokemon are made from scratch. I like this kind of dedication. I’ve seen some similar sites just going over the original artwork, or it takes ages for them to be released. Here, it got to go fast, and I like that. + weekly tournaments, and daily goals. I do like this concept! The weekly tournaments give us something to work on, and the prizes are really nice! And the daily goals, I like that you are rewarded more when keeping up a streak! Even if it’s hard for me to keep up with it, it’s a nice concept, and I like it! + the shiny hunting. It indeed feel like shiny hunting in the pokemon games! As in, if you break the streak, you got to start over. I like how it keeps true to the games. But then you got the chance to get an albino and melanistic, and that’s a nice thing for this site! Even if the melan’s are hard to get, I do can understand you got to work to get one, and it’s good motivation! + I like the scouring, and the wishforge too. It are parts of the site that I enjoy - I… do am a bit nervous to talk to the staff here due the reputation they have, even if I only came in contact with them once… Not to say that I have a bad experience! But… If I just see how most reviews say that they seem too hard to talk with or that they can be bitter, I hope you can understand that it makes me a bit nervous to talk with them. I know that being a staff member can be a bit stressful, and I really hope that this reputation will fade away. - The marketplace is handy for rare items, but I do wish there was an actual shop where you could buy evolution items and other common items for a set price. It sometimes takes a long time before getting an evolution item you need after running out of them. I liked the shop we had on the old site. - The overuse of meme’s and puns. I mean, it can be funny, but.. If used too much, it do can become a bit boring. I usually am busy with drawing, so I do know that you can get more done on this site when being very active. This site is something that is for the dedicated people, and for those who really want to collect them all! It’s still improving, I’m sure that the reputation of the staff will improve as well. You’re already on the right way! It's why I do give 4 stars, as there's things to work on, but still enjoyable!

While this game is good it still needs a bit of work. With some fine tuning this could be an amazing game

HumbleGeckoDork: "Very Good, but at times, a bit painful. Figuratively and literally."★★★★☆

Posted: 16/Jul/2017 20:30:26 (6 years ago)

This website is really nice. It runs smoothly, design choices and programming are very professional and have no bugs that I have discovered myself that hasn't already been fixed. Customization of website skins is useful for playability for players who are colorblind like myself, and community challenges keep things interesting and provide advantages for certain goals one may have such as having a bonus to interaction points or a higher chance for a Shiny Pokemon. But as I mentioned, things can be painful. Figuratively, I specifically mean the market available for players to use. Users can put their items on the market for sale and select a price in credits for others users to purchase it for. But I often find the market useless due to it being horribly abused. Many of the items up for sale in the market are horribly overpriced for what they should be worth. For example, a Cheri berry, a Common Berry, can be and at the time of this review, is up for sale at the price of 99,999,999 credits. For one (1) berry. Many of the items are at similarly though not quite as ridiculously priced. As such, this clogs up the market with items not even a veteran player could hope to buy, and the history of the market is almost exclusively full of purchases of properly or fairly priced items, leaving the overpriced items to rot and remain on the market for an indefinite amount of time. It would be nice if each item had a cap to the price they can be sold for that isn't 99,999,999 credits, which is far too much. Now, for what is literally, physically painful. Mass Click Weekends. I understand it, you have two days to mass click other users to reach the target amount of clicks/interactions and earn the Mega Stone reward. But while I respect and obey the rule of not using auto-clickers, it is physically painful to click that many pokemon in that amount of time, which makes the reward seem semi-worth it, if at all. Fabulous Friday has a reasonable amount of interactions required to reach 100% in the time given, but Mass Click Weekend is very, very laborous and hard to accomplish without having an aching wrist the next day. I've found that I have to ice my wrist while I click whatever else is left on the second day and for however long after it while taking pain meds, or click it all in one day and simply rest for the remainder of the event. Neither of which are really healthy. I love the website, I love the aspect, idea, and participating here, but the Market and Mass-Click Weekends are an issue that bothers me whenever I need to buy something or Mass-Click Weekend comes around. If these issues were addressed and/or improved upon in any way, I would gladly give this site 5/5 stars, and so far, they are the only issues that come to mind.

Although I have only been active on the site for a few months, I've been witness to several new features, including new fakemon, avatar customization, custom notifications, and updated pixels sprites. I really like that whether it be gen hunting, shiny/albino/melan hunting, training and battling, there's something for everyone. Something else I appreciate and have a great respect for is the tireless dedication of staff members to keeping the website safe and child-friendly.

Greetings! Your friendly intergalactic bartender here. I've been on PF since the first iteration. I'm must say, it's a great way to kill time, meet awesome people and go a little deeper into the minds of Pokemon fans across the world. Overall, the site and premise are very sound. No huge issues jump to mind. If I had to not pick, it'd be about the pay to win aspect of some things, but that is pretty much negated by the healthy trading system. So, hop in and give it a try. You'll have fun, find interesting Pokemon, and find yourself in a very detailed game. Cheers, mates!
