The game itself is definitely not terrible. Those who say "pay to play" isn't inherently wrong but you can always do things in-game to get money - just very, very slowly which helps to have those who don't have the patience to simply give up money for the website. With this argument, it's a lot less egregious since this is a free to play website. These are my own observations for those who have heard of the "pay to play" model of pfq. Before you try this game, you should be aware there is quite a bit of talk about the staff members. I won't even go and list the myriad of things I've seen staff talk about and what happens to users who call them out of their things. I would suggest if you want to know about the staff members, and are older than 13, please look at their twitters and instead of listening to other users tell you things about other people, take a look for yourselves. For those who are already playing and just have no idea what's going on, you have the added advantage, if you are over the age of 13 and have discord, to view what the staff's behavior is in discord. For those over 18, find the staff's blogs and read them. See for yourself if you find their behavior as terrible or good instead of listening to other users. For those who have heard about other users and rumors about those who spoke poorly of the staff member's being banned, I've witnessed it. For my personal opinion, I do not agree to have punishment being dished out for opinions and to stoop to the level of users. Staff members should be above on a professional level to that of an average user. Yet, time and time again, they go to the level of the user from what I have personally observed. What are my true opinions? Did I quit the site because of this? Yes. It isn't my only reason but it is certainly my main one. I do not believe ALL staff members are terrible people. In fact, I'm more inclined to blame those higher than mods for they are the ones who choose the mods to begin with. The admins should be held responsible for EVERYTHING a mod does and should have it handled in a professional manner and not always acting rashly. Do I hate the site? No. I just do not agree with the people who run it. I would list all of my reasons but I'm sure someone will come over to defend what I have to say so I'll keep those words to myself. As I stated earlier, most of the information I have seen and received from my own research and from others is completely public. Very few things I've seen were personal emails, messages, or even private threads. Pretty much all the information I have seen is me looking in the pfq discord, reading their twitter accounts, and watching the interactions of users on pfq itself in full view of either everyone or everyone over the age of 18. If none of this bothers you or even with research you feel that you are okay or even uncaring of how the game state is and the people who run it, then this game is one of the better pokemon games for you. If this review hits you in some way or at least has you asking questions, then I have done something in this review. The main thing I want to hit home with this review is not to slander any users or staff members but to inform and enlighten you about my own feelings on the matter and to ask you to do the same for this site. If you feel like I've...lied somehow despite this being mostly opinion and asking you to do research and observe yourself, then that is your feelings and I will not belittle that.

I have never played Pokémon before and my friend suggested it to me so I started playing and I haven’t stopped playing since! I would definitely suggest this game to others, it’s so addictive, once you start you can’t stop!

Pokefarm Q is a lovely site. I tend to go on binges of games like this and this is one of the longest I've stuck on. The draw of the site exclusive Pokemon is a really good one! It's part of the reason I signed myself up! My only complaint, really, is that certain things aren't clear to me and I find it difficult to navigate certain things. For the most part, though, the site is pretty easy to figure out and I love the exclusives to death!

this game is amazing. really amazing. I’ve enjoyed playing this so much! <3 hopefully more people start playing, then there’ll be more activity! but otherwise it’s really great ^^

Even as someone who isn't as into Pokemon anymore, I still enjoy playing this. It's also really nice that accounts remain even if I disappear for a long time.

It’s a very nice game to play when my internet connection isn’t good enough to talk with friends or do homework (which happens a lot on my campus) The site runs pretty well despite the crummy connection at my college, and is a great time passer while waiting for the bus or just in between classes.

It's great, an amazing game, but there isn't that much mobile support, it might just be because I have an original iPad, but clicking acts weird and sometimes sprites won't show, at one point in time, the shelter was showing completely different sprites, but, as I said before, I probably just need to get a newer iPad.

I love this game. When i started playing in 2014 it was so addicting and i couldn't go a day without playing. A few years ago i called myself quitting mainly because i had spent so much money and time trying to hatch a melan that i really wanted when melans were first introduced to this game. It was kind of frustrating to see someone else got it in weeks when I wanted the first but i know its unpredictable but i returned and i see now it is ways to increase chances of getting melans if you have been hunting for a long time which i think is really great because hard work pays off now. Also I love the idea of z crystals increasing chances also. Overall i see a lot of improvement since i took a 2 year break from the game and I am addicted to playing all over again. I get on everyday. It's also a great way to keep busy. There are so many things to do on here that i can play for hours and still not get bored. I had a time where i had been going through some things in my life and when i start playing pfq i forget about all negative things because I'm enjoying this game. Great job and keep up the good work!! :)
