First off, the game itself is a pretty decent clicker with some unique designs and concepts. I started playing thinking it’d be a relaxing kids game like it’s advertised in the rules. The game itself does a good job with this. The user base does not. A large amount of users have their profile messages set as political statements that are sometimes very stereotypical and hurtful. When I go through my daily click backs and see at least 10 “all cops are complicit/criminals/should be dismantled” etc. it ruins what could’ve been a 4 maybe even 5 star clicker easy. People are entitled to their opinions yes, but politics should not be allowed in a game that specifically states in its rules and guidelines that this is meant to be a child friendly environment. The fact that I see it so often makes me think that the admin team doesn’t really care as long as the political opinions match their own. I very well may be wrong. Maybe the admins don’t look at profiles. -- Edit. Thanks to replies from the admin team, I can see that there are efforts to crack down a bit on the harsh political comments on the site. I realize it's hard to keep up with every single user on a big site like this. (Note from Niet: per the reviewer's request, the rating of this review has been changed from 2 to 4 stars.)

Thank you for your feedback on this. We're actually (still) in the process of discussing new policies regarding political matters in profiles and on the forums in general, since as you've correctly pointed out they aren't exactly "suitable for children." It is, however, a very complicated thing. We need to figure out some way of allowing people to express themselves, without the hostility that is currently showing through. The biggest issue we've encountered is that the topic itself is fine, but the way it's expressed is not. If you see any particularly severe examples, please do report the user and bring it to our attention that way. We do scan through profiles when we can but there are a lot of profiles and sometimes things can stay under the radar for longer than we'd like.

A really good game, considering it's free! It keeps you coming back and definitely appeals to the collector-type gamers.

Pokéfarm is a great place to have fun, but some things you do have to pay for. Sometimes, it can get a little boring, and...other times, it gets addicting. Some things that I do like is that you can trade and message other players, and that you can hatch Pokémon from eggs, and then raise them. It is also fun to try and hatch Shinies and Albinos! Overall, I think that this is an amazing website to play and have fun on.

Title pretty much says it all. This is some truly great work on the part of the whole team, and I sincerely applaud them all, past and present, for giving us this amazing site! There've been a few missteps here and there (hence 4 stars), though nothing really major, and I've admittedly kinda stopped actively playing at this point, but that's on me, for putting myself in a position where I'm just not as motivated anymore, and not the game.

I love this game, except for the fact that some things you have to technically pay for, in order to have it.

While I enjoy this site, the whole paid system is what's stopping me from giving a 5 star rating. Sure you can trade but that's not my issue with it. My biggest issue with the real money system is the fact that the devs are making money off a property (pokemon) that does not belong to them. That's a nintendo cease and desist letter waiting to happen. That being said, the site has way more pros than it does cons. I love how chill the staff are, the community is nice, and there's a nice sense of accomplishment when you hatch a really rare pokemon or unlock stuff.

For all of you who haven't fully looked into the game and just think "Ooh pretty color pokémon go brrr" let me give you a short story. I have a friend who we'll call Kizu, I constantly show them stuff from Pokéfarm and they like shiny hunting in actual pokemon games. And said they really wanted to hunt Albinos and Shiny stuff. I took my (sad) time explaining all the mechanics and they seemed to think that once you hatch your starter egg and unlock the daycare you're good to go. I think if you don't fully look into the game you don't understand – this game requires you to be relatively active each day. Constantly clicking people, hatching eggs, checking scour missions, filling out the dexs, raising your egg meter each day... Unless you want your goal of completing the dex or hunting a specific pokemon to take literal days depending on what you're hunting for. You need to be on this game at least like..30 minutes each day after every reset. And then throughout the day check back up on your berry farms, eggs, scours, etc. What I'm saying is please don't jump into this game hoping to get to the some-what big ranking stuff such as shiny/albino dex nearly immediately. You still have to prepare and do a bunch of stuff before that..like 1. Finding a decently high rate breeding pair 2. If you're breeding for stats or natures – find that too 3. If you're playing for free, save money to even get the ability to chain (a whopping 750K credits without a bonus day 4. And once again if you're playing for free: you are limited to only 6 free eggs a day from the daycare, beyond that you need to pay for passes. This is pretty irritating if you don't have any gold for passes, and are hunting for albinos. Having to waste 100,000 points each day in hopes your 6 eggs get lucky. TLDR: This game requires you to put in work each day, don't expect to join pkfarm and do things like melan/shiny hunt (easily) if you're playing for free. And this game requires you to check in once a day for awhile, then throughout the day for awhile. Kind of like Animal Crossing when it comes to breeding flowers or turnip prices.

An amazing game! Great people, great fakemons, great events! It’s a game I turn to when I have spare time and that time always flies when I play.

It can be a little overwhelming at first, although once you get the hang of it, Pokefarm Q is really fun.

Simple, yet addicting game! It's good for playing during online classes (yes, I do that) and when you're bored, this is a good game for everyone! I'm kinda am a new player here, so I'm still learning the new features. Unfortunately, why I didn't add the 4th star is because some people can't buy some other stuff in this game, (like me oof) and... that's all I have to say! God bless my hands tho from clicking--
