Lets complain about melan hunts!!!

I 100% agree with you, Floyd. Special rates are garbage, even in my 14k+ chain. Absolutely atrocious for having HM and ubercharm on top of the other bonuses. Once my bonuses run out, it's just gonna get worse. I barely play anymore as it is. :/

It's super frustrating to see people getting so many melans with an 8k chain but I could barely get one. I get melans are meant to be rare but if that were the point, early melans are meant to be even RARER and I'm not seeing them being rare at all tbh :/ Most my melans ARE early melans, what's the point of a long chain at this point..

And it gets worse if you don't have all the bonuses- come on, ubercharm, do something!

I seriously respect that you're not afraid to speak your mind about this. it's really what everyone is thinking. it's just very upseting to invest money and time into a hunt for it to have little return. I'm very worried about my current hunt. I'm hunting binacle, which is a very unpopular pokemon so I'm the only one making eggs. I'm worried about me slacking on eggs bc my Melan luck is garbage, so I expect this to go on for months and college will be starting again soon... and I hope they don't ruin the colors, but with each recolor update being a surefire disappointment I don't have very high hopes.

For me, I'm struggling to stay motivated for my melan right now. I'm hunting Enamorus. It's expensive, it costs a lot of money because its undiscovered. I have a lot of money in my hands usually, but... Idk. I can't keep justifying hunting right now. Its draining to not get a single albino in over 500 eggs now. Its tiring to constantly be running all boosts besides Arceus and getting very little. I've gotten a ton of shinies, but... its not like that for everyone. I do think rates need adjusting, maybe not the old rates, but some kind of change to make it a little more tolerable.

aside from the fact that i am in the middle of moving i also have low motivation to play when i have the chance.. idk it’s just disheartening to get nothing even with high chains, i dont mind specials being rare but maybe not this rare?

Hi hello, I really felt the need to get this out here Totally agree with both the recolors and rates. didnt find the rates to be too overpowered before I left (probably because I wasn't too avid a hunter) but after a long break I came back and hatched almost 2k litleo eggs with almost full boosts (hatched ~400 eggs with z crystal). I can count on one hand the number of albinos I got throughout those 2000 eggs (4). I feel like there's no longer a good incentive to hunt. Before, when I invested into new boosts, I'd be rewarded with quite a few shinies and albinos; maybe even a melan, which encouraged me to keep on going. But now, after hatching so much and spending even more, the results don't justify the time and effort put into this game. Kalos is my favorite region and I personally loved the melan colors on almost all the mons there so I had a plan to hunt a bunch including diancie, xerneas and yveltal, but with the recolors being announced I feel like quitting. Bright colors unique to a few melans became dark greens, blues and purples, which are great colors, but seeing them on practically every melan begins to make them feel repetitive. My victini hunt started because I loved the colors and after the recolor I personally thought it didnt look as good anymore. I loved the unique bright accents on the past melans and now I feel like they just look so.. dull and lifeless.. I'm sure some people like it but it's not for me. With the expensive rates and muted recolors we never asked for, I'm seriously considering quitting like so many others soon :(

Frustrating, 500+ hatched yet only got 2 shinies, was a waste of zc buying HM :(

I'm having the struggle as well. I'm long chaining at almost 4k hatched, everything boosted, and it's Sei day. I even have Arceus rank. I managed a decent amount of Shinies, but so much less Albinos. I'm getting tired of buying ZC to keep up at this rate, so... I don't know how much longer I'll be hunting. I can barely keep up with the interacton points for the Albino Radar anymore :/ I hatched a bunch during the Type Race since I didn't have to even change the pokemon I was hunting, lmao! I like having a goal to work towards, but not this goal -_- At least there's a visable change in the Wishforge counts that makes me feel like I'm getting closer to accomplishing something.
