Hello and welcome to the Easter Egg Decorating Contest!
Cele, Loksfjoer and I are happy to invite you to participate and show off your creativity! We prepared an egg template and a colour palette for you to draw an Easter themed design. PFQ Staff members will then be welcome to vote for the best designs by giving them points and then the top three most voted ones will get wonderful rewards!
- The submission period is open on 30. March and closed at 19. April 23:59h server time (7 days ago).
- The voting period will be from 20. to 22. April.
- The winner will be announced on 23. April.
- The prize distribution and feedback period will be from winner announcement until all prizes are gone from the Prize Pool.
Rules
In addition to the Site Rules and Contest Rules, please follow these rules:
- One submission per user.
- Your design has to be a still image, drawn digitally on the provided template.
- Do not remove credit, resize or rotate the template.
- Contain your design within the egg template. Don't draw over the black line or add anything outside of the egg template (eg. background, effects, characters, text, etc.).
- Use the given colour palette only to create your design. This means no colour blending to make a completely new colour, but gradients made of colours in the palette are allowed - you may use colours in the palette, or these gradients, in order to create shading if desired. The ONLY exception to the no blending rule is if you blend between given off black and white to produce shades of grey due to it being a neutral colour. One coloured (flat colour), simple two-coloured eggs, and any kind of writing on the egg won't qualify.
- The design you submit must be completely drawn by you. This means no collaborations, no tracing, no AI generated designs, no incorporating other images into the design, and no submitting entries from the past contests.
- Ensure that the image is uploaded on the PFQ Image Uploader or PostImage and remains a functional image link until after judging is complete.
- This contest is just for fun. Pokefarm and its staff will not redistribute submitted designs.
Egg Template & Colours
Here is the egg template and with the only colours you may use. You don't have to use them all, of course, and you are free to blend them.
Template background can be either white or transparent (no colouring it please!) and you are free to incorporate transparent areas in your egg design.
Remember, don't remove credits, little eggs or draw anything outside of the egg template. Any kind of text is also not acceptable.

Here are the prizes! PFQ Staff members will be welcomed to vote for their favourite entries if they would like. They will do this by scoring each egg out of ten points, and we will tally the scores. The entries will be organized from greatest to least number of points, and that will be the order of winners.

This prize pool is made up of additional prizes and donations. The distribution method is as follows: The first round of Prize Pool picks goes to the Runner-Ups, as part of their guaranteed prize. - Can I change my submission?
- Up until 12. April 23:59h server time you are allowed to change your submission. After the deadline any changes made to your submission will be dismissed.
- Can I PM you my submission?
- No. All entries sent via pm will be ignored.
- Can staff apply?
- No, staff will not make design submissions.
- Can I make a WIP post?
- No. Only make a post when you have a ready design please.
- Can I donate prizes?
- No. Only staff members are allowed to donate to the prize pool.
- Can I upload or use this base offsite?
- No. This base is made specifically for this contest for PFQ's use only.
