It started raining.
Oh. It started raining.
You hurry and look around the vast, empty area hoping for somewhere you can hide. No luck.
Walk turns into run as you frantically look for a place to hide. What made you think coming here was a good idea anyway?
In fact...what were you here for?
You didn't know. You didn't know anything, except the fact you are getting quite wet and you didn't like getting wet.
You look around again. In the distance, you see a shadow of...something. You're not sure what it is. But it looks like shelter.
Quickly, you run towards the shadow, and slowly, the distant shadow forms a building. There are no signs indicating what the building is for, no descriptions, nothing. But the shop seems open, as the flickering lights coming from the window showed. So you push the door and go inside.
The interior of the building is dark. Somebody was singing Nanatsu no Ko...except it wasn't quite the version of the song that you were familar with.
"Mother crow, mother crow, why are you cawing?
Mother crow, mother crow, why are you cawing?
Mohter crow says, 'I have seven cute children in the mountain
They have such black feathers and big round eyes
ANd they're waiting for me to go back!'

One year later, I ask Mother Crow again,
"Mother crow, mother crow, why are you dying?"
Mother crow says,
'All seven of my children are dead
I only have seven shiny black feathers
I do not have any more reason to live
The reason I'm dying is simple child,
I died because of a broken heart.'
It was rather sad and you felt sorry for the mother crow, when something caught your attention.
Something slowly slinks out of the shadow.
A bright, purple-turquoise Umbreon greets you. "Hello. I am Peppermint Moon. Please call me Mint. What is your business here?"
The Umbreon spoke on some kind of weird accent that you couldn't place, and he spoke very, very slowly. You blink twice before realizing that the Pokemon had spoken.
"What is it, child? You've never seen a Pokemon speak before?" The Umbreon chuckled. "Well this isn't a normal place. Welcome to one of the Shops-In-the-Rain."
"Shops-In-the-Rain?" you ask.
The Umbreon motioned to the door. "It's always raining here," Mint explained. "Always. Never has it stopped raining for a day. Like I said, it isn't normal here. Only the exhiled and the banished come here...or some people get here by dreaming, dying, there's a lot of ways to get here. You probably dreamed yourself here, don't worry, you're not dead, not yet."
You gulped, realizing that it was not reasurring at all. "What is this place called?"
The Umbreon sighed. "No name," he said. "There's no name. This is simply a Shop-In-the-Rain. I was probably banished here. Luckily, I found this place and tethered myself here. I can't go out. If I do, I'll probably end up wandering the rainy landscape forever." Then the Umbreon shook his head. "But no matter. Look around, child. Or don't."
"Maybe I'll just leave," you say.
The Umbreon motioned to the door. "You'll probably end up wandering the landscape until you wake up. And you'll never find the same shop again."
You shiver at the omnious remark. "Maybe I'll just look around," you say.
The Umbreon nodded in satsification.
"So what do you sell?"
"Templates," he replied. "I make templates. Nothing else to do these days; I'll probably make templates until the day I die." He barked a humorless laugh. "Look around will you?"
"Okay," you say, feeling slightly sorry for the Umbreon.
"And," the Umbreon added. His expression darkened. "Don't get attatched to this place. You don't want to know what happned to Cobalt, who was the last one to."
You gulped again.

Here are the rules, seperated by hideboxes for your convience. Every. Single. Bit. Is. Important. Read all of them. They contain the information for this shop, what to do if your template breaks, if something happens, etc. Which means you should subscribe.

-All PFQ rules apply
-Please use the form! I made the form for a reason, it helps keeps things in my cluttered brain neat and organized(or something close to it).
-This is a pay-what-you-want shop. Just give me something. 100 GP? I'll take it. Gummies? I'll take it. Boxes? I'll take them. Just have to give me something.
-Subscribe to the thread if you are ordering. For a couple reasons. One, easy contacting. I do PM you when I plan to work on your template, but still, your order may not be accepted until I have confirmed several things. Two, if your template ever breaks, the thread is here to provide important information on what to do.
-REGARDING ART: StarlessSky will draw for you requested! The art tab will explain that bit more in depth.
When ordering, keep in mind that...
-I only do forum templates AND signature...for now. I've tried coding both forum and signature, but not about-me yet. So that's that.
-The legibility rules apply. I can't code anything that goes against the legibility templates. Here are the legibility rules. The MODs will probably contact me if I did something wrong with the template, but in case they ask, tell them to contact me.
-Please be descriptive! I lack the imagination for layouts, so a general layout in mind would be helpful.
-My progress is S-L-O-W. Very, very, very, slow. I can't code fast, I can't code well, I'm very much a beginner and trying more complicated things by the template...and that may end up with me stuck on one little thing for a few days. Please be patient ^^
-Order one template at a time. Please! It makes me very happy you want to order more, but I am extremely busy and tend to bite off more than I can chew at times. So...one at a time please!
What if...
-IF MY TEMPLATE SUDDENLY BREAKS...
Well, if your template suddenly breaks, I dunno why. But, more often than not, it means the images are broken. Which means my cluttered mind accidentally deleted something from my image host. Again.
The first course of action: DO. NOT. FIX. IT. YOURSELF.
First of all, if the image actually breaks, that means that its my image host's problem and not yours. And so, the only course of action is:
PM me. Please. Just PM me. I'm on PFQ probably every day, or may I'll miss out on a few days. But I'm almost always around. Just give me a PM. I'll fix it. I don't bite unless you attacked me first. Just kidding. Maybe.
The point is, don't fix try to fix it, PM me. Please.
-IF YOUR TEMPLATE HAS A BUG...
If your template has a bug, even if you are a seasoned CSS expert or whatever, PM me. Please.
There are two reasons for this:
1) So I know it broke in the first place. I do not like things breaking without me knowing. That's just asking for trouble.
2) I don't appreciate people editing my code without me knowing. Just let me fix it. I'll figure something out.
Please just PM me. I'm sure we'll figure something out.
-IF YOU WANT YOUR TEMPLATE EDITED...
PM me. I keep a copy of the code on my computer, so I could edit it for you. Please. Most edits are probably easy. The way I design my code is easy-to-edit, for myself.
But let's say you want to edit it yourself.
Well, I'll tell you then you need to be aware of the following:
1) You need to PM me regardless
2) I must give you an actual "okay"
3) If you ignore the legibility guidelines, I hold zero responsiblity and that is exactly what I am telling the MODs
4) If you are editing, I assume that means you know what you are doing. If you DON'T KNOW what you are doing, PM me and I will do it for you.
5) I would very much prefer a final version handed to me
You may request editing rights after I give you the final copy of the template. Please do not just edit. That includes font, text color, background color, etc.
-Actually, if anything happens, just PM me...
The first course of action whenever something happens to my template is you PM me. This is extremely important.

-Make forum and signature templates
-Make extremely simple animation
-Give a template an illusion of going on forever
-Make a variety of layouts(textbox-like layouts, folder tabs, etc.)
-Ask! I have no idea what I'm actually capable of making, so asking would be the best thing to do! Don't be afraid to ask <3

-Make gradient backgrounds
-Make vertical tabs
-Any complicated animation
-Make about-me's

REGARDING ADOPTS...
Regarding adopts! They're gonna be added into the shop.
-You may request minor color changes, especially if it hurts your eyes, spacing, font changes, etc.
-You may NOT request image changes, massive color changes(if it hurts your eyes, like, actually hurts not just hard or uncomfortable to look at, then please tell me via PM I will fix immediately, not necessarily for you but so that I don't get MOD-ed), and massive layout changes
-There's gonna be a base price! Those aren't completely PWYW because...you know...it actually takes work for me use my brain and not just follow somebody's orders lol
This is a pay-what-you-want shop! Anything's welcome! Credits, GP, ZC, s/a/m Pokemon, summon items, megastones, boxes...

Hello, this is fairly new, and we're still figuring things out.
StarlessSky will be joining this shop. So...basically, it's a co-owned shop now!
Well, things are complicated, but there's only one post. I'm the one that originally posted, so I will be speaking for StarlessSky.
StarlessSky is in charge of the art. She draws, because I have zero ablility to.
Anyway, here are her rules:

Here's how things work. You post the form in the thread. If you request StarlessSky's art, then both of us have to approve for the template. And that means both of us.
Also, this is a co-owned shop. StarlessSky does own part of the shop, even though there's only one post.
Once both of us have approved, StarlessSky will PM you. Then you two will work out the image. Once done, I can start making the template. Either you or StarlessSky will PM me the image.
It's either that or StarlessSky accepts and starts drawing while I wait to accept. Eh, I don't really know...
Yeah, we're still working things out, please be patient T-T

Sky's Rules
-I have the right to refuse any requests
-I will do art for templates if requested
-Please remember that all art can only add up to 400px total, top and bottom. I can resize, but if this results in the image looking weird or wacky, that isn't something me or Sky can fix. Sky uses a default canvas and is unable to change the size
-Working templates mean working illusions. If one of the ends of the art or both ends in solid colors, it is easy for me to work an illusion of continous image. If not...well...you may just have to live with it...
-Background images need to be...square. Please.
