Io hung up and sighed, running a hand through her hair. Even if she had been the one to suggest it, the thought of sitting down with the guardians filled her with dread. She had realized that the sudden silent moments she had when she was by herself, thinking of what was to come, had greatly affected even the guardians. As they made their way over, Camilla had noticed Yue's magic reaching out to hers and trying to ease the girl even a little It felt quite similar to how he would run his fingers through her hair, calming and soothing her down. Now that she acknowledged just how attached they had become with their guardians made it even harder for her to talk She swallowed, "Remember that time Sumire... talked to us? Kero and Yue seemed taken aback at Camilla's words, and it made Io want to scream at somebody. "Of course you do!" She told them, her voice breaking slightly at the end. "What are you talking about?!! We would never just... hand you down like that..!" She hiccuped, feeling so very sad for their sakes. Then Kero was there, a warm body at her side, magic calling out to her. Slowly the blonde calmed down, swallowing a few times.

"We... can choose...?", Yue echoed slowly, disbelief clear and showing in his face. It was as if the very notion that they were asked for their opinion on such matter was never heard of before "Yeah... It's just... we don't think we can handle passing you over to another but... of course you know what that would entail, right?"
