Kero was breathing heavily, and it was clear that he was extremely distressed. "Io is under the control of one of the Sakura Cards, The Sword, which took the form of the brooch she bought earlier! We have to snap her out of it!" Having said that, the Guardian flew back towards Io's house, sure Camilla would follow. Soon he arrived, and the guardian risked a peep through the window. Io was just standing in front of the front door, sword poised and ready to strike whoever entered next. It was clear they couldn't come in through that way. "Camilla, does Io's house have any other entrances we can use?"

A shocked expression was on Camilla's face as Kero had told her the bad news. He was referring to the intricate brooch she showed her, what coincidence it was for it to actually be a Sakura Card. If push comes to shove, then at least she had brought the Book with her, even if it was a whim Camilla did her best to keep up with his pace and soon, they were already standing outside the house. Sha placed down the handbag, this way, the pudding will be unharmed, and rummaged around for the Book. She didn't have a complete plan yet and, if Io was indeed armed, it would be risky to fight back. So, other than I can't expect for it it to return by itself, Io has to be the one to seal it"

Kero nodded. "Ya. Io is the only one who can seal The Sword. We have to get her to release The Sword, so she'll come to her senses. If we can break its control over her she might have a chance." The Guardian cautiously floated in, making sure not to make a sound. Soon enough he was standing at the entrance of the dining room, a spot where he had perfect view of Io, who was standing motionless. It was rather surreal. Io was never still. She was always moving or fidgeting, even in her sleep. "Camilla, you only have The Windy. It's a card used for capturing enemies, not for fighting. If Windy can hold Io still for long enough we might be able to knock The Sword out of her hand." At that moment Io's head whipped around and she spotted them. The teen nimbly turned around and lunged for the two, sword glinting.

Camilla tried to dash around Io, leaning dangerously to the right as her friend was too close. There was no way she would be able to outrun Io and opted to jump outside again as not to damage anything inside. That would be a lot harder to explain She quickly unlatched the Star Key, incantation recited in a hurry as not to waste time, "Release!". With a tight grip on her staff, she turned around, finding Io hot on their trail. She had to admit for a moment that the fencing skills she was now displaying was admirable. The stance flawless and the slashes ruthless. If it was due to Io's own prowess or The Sword's power, that would have to be for a later time "Become a chain that binds", she recited throwing the card directly above her and the staff raised high, its wings enlarged as the power sealed was being released, "Windy" The gust of golden air quickly wrapped around Io, tightening and coiling up as to freeze her movements. Now immobilized, the threat was temporarily gone and Camilla went up to her, "Io! Snap out of it!", and smacked the girl's hand that had a grip on the weapon

Withe The Sword out of her hand, Io woke up. She looked around in confusion, before Kero arrived and pointed at the weapon that was now lying on the ground and slowly disappearing. It was trying to escape..! Though still rather sleepy, Io managed to react on pure instinct alone. She grabbed the star key around her neck and murmured the incantation. "Release." Soon Io's staff appeared in her hands., and at the same time Windy released her. She landed next to the sword, which was almost gone, and pointed her staff at it. "Return to the form you were meant to be... Sakura Card!" The Sword rippled as a burst of energy gathered at Io's staff. The star began spinning and the wings grew in size as the magic did its job. Soon there was a floating pink sakura card in front of Io. The image was of a chained sword. Kero caught it and gave it to Io. A few minutes later, Io seemed to have shaken off most of the aftereffects, and was back to normal. Having written her name 'Iolana' on the card, she was grilling both Camilla and Kero for answers, wanting to know everything that happened.

"For someone who had been under the effects of a card, you sure bounce back rather quickly", Camilla teased, a small smile of relief in her face as well. The situation seemed to have been solved without too much trouble. And for future situations, other than the very gentle Windy, they now have a powerful Sword on their side "Well, if you want to know the full details, Kero could sum it up! I wasn't here when you had put the brooch on and went, hmm... ballistic? I don't know", she shrugged casually, clipping the Star Key back into her charm bracelet and tucking her Sakura Card into its book, "The only thing I could comment on Io, is the awesome fencing skills you displayed under The Sword's influence!" "Are we still going to have dinner", Camilla pulled the handbag from the floor, "It would be a total waste of good pudding should we don't"

Kero's ears stood up. "Pudding?" The guardian drololed, floating over to the handbag as if in a trance. "Its been so long since I ate a dessert..!" Io laughed. "Slow down there Kero! I still have to finish our spaghetti." Thankfully they weren't burned. She poured the noddles with tomato sauce and brought them over to her friends. One plate for Camilla, one plate for Kero, and one plate for herself. "Hey kid. I just realized, but aint your parents gonna find me here soon?" Io shook her head as she ate her spaghetti. "Nah, they're out of town like usual. You're safe Kero." Her parents were often too busy to come home, though the teen knew they made a lot of effort.

"If you're a great fan of dessert, Kero, you should have told me! I'll be sure to always keep one on me for you. Heaven knows how my aunt hoards them", Camilla chuckled and dinner went on with only light teasing and playful banter. After that, she had wwnt straight home. Though there was a small disappointment as Camilla said her goodbye to the two She had first brought the Book with her with the intent of asking Kero a question. Camilla had come to realize that when Kero came out of Io's Book, the intricate sun design was now simply a hollow indent. What did that say about hers where a Moon indent was already there by the time they got it? With all the hype that occured because of The Sword, she guessed that would still remain a question

The week had passed by in a blur While the two of them did keep a lookout for any Sakura Card, days had passed and not a thing came up. Kero had assured the two that there was no need to rush to gather them, the card would be attracted to their powers and make themselves known in their own accord but that didn't made Camilla feel better. She had started to think that they might get caught off-guard She tried not to show it, as not to worry Kero and Io and as not to be obvious, she focused on other thoughts. Like the Moon indent on her book. Kero did keep bragging about how he was the Guardian of the Sun and all that stuff but if he was the sole guardian, why weren't all the cards under him? Maybe they were different explanations for that and the answer to the two might not really be related but Camilla couldn't help but think that they are Lunch break was a gift to them. Io and Camilla joined some of their classmates on school grounds for that and started to discuss a topic she didn't expect in this day and age "A ghost, you say?", Camilla asked and turned towards Io to see what she would think about it

"Ah, is that even possible?", Camilla raised a brow, trying to lower her voice as well as for no one else to hear their conversation, "Sure the Cards are magical but would they work on ghosts?". Not that she believes in them but might ask as well She quickly glanced at the others with them to see if they had heard but no one else seemed to be listening in as they were thoroughly engrossed with exchanging stories about those who had seen the said ghost in the school
