it's the new me

i'm starting to get used to this new trainer sprite, but only after some customization right now i have it so that the big sprite is hidden, and so are the faces/expressions. i just... i dunno. i don't like how the faces look. it makes me uncomfortable how feminine all the options look. i get that it's all the same base, with only slight changes to the chest to make them different, but still. it's all really feminine and it hits me right in the dysphoria which is weird because i rarely experience gender dysphoria in real life even though i really hate these things on my torso. maybe it helps that i don't really look at myself? whereas i have to look at this new trainer sprite every time i'm on my profile. Oh well. it's only the first day. heck, it's only been 14 hours, not even a full day. niet (and others) will definitely be fiddling with this for a while yet. i hope we get more hairstyles, along with those outfits. and maybe expressions.

What I really need right now is a Skyrim Discord server. Or just a general Elder Scrolls server. i'm starting to replay rune factory now, and i'll be getting the 4th game (finally) in 2 weeks. and there's a 5th game coming out (!) for the switch in 2020 so i guess i know what i'm getting myself next year lol}

you think you know death, that you're prepared for it, but you're not. you never are. it's harsh and it hurts and it sucks and there's nothing you can do about it after the fact. very little you can do to even prevent it. it sneaks up on you. this is the last picture i ever took on my cat jack

we found him as a kitten on november 8th 2018. we think he was about 2 months old. we had him for almost exactly 9 months. he wasn't even a year old. the world isn't fair and doesn't pull its punches and it's never going to stop hurting.
