i think it only works for long chains, yes, but this is the first hunt and Literal First Shiny i've gotten since obtaining arceus even if I know it's not actually responsible for it i think the coincidence is really funny

AHHHHHHH 7/7 melan shinx have been FEMALE!!!!!!!! I JUST WANT ONE MALE IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK!!!! (Also I JUST made new melan bait art aggressively saying i want a boy lol) I cannot. I'm NEVER doing gender specific hunts again!!!!
