Clan Info & Rules

The goals of this clan are to help one another make pairs and achieve or maintain the Egg 'Dex portion of Arceus Rank. This clan is run by GnarleyQuinn and Neonyan. This clan is not a for profit clan and all help given to one another is free. In order to recieve a pair from Arceus Wonders, you must be a member of the clan.

Rules

Remember that the more active you are, the more likely you are to benefit from this clan! Failure to adhere to these rules can result in removal from the clan, especially the activity and non-profit related rules.

The only posts permitted in this thread are membership applications and clan-wide announcements. Clan-wide announcements will be posted by Clan Leaders or Region Leaders. Any trade discussion will be reported. Trade listings are not to be discussed here. If you are unsure about a post you'd like to make, please PM a Clan Leader.
This clan is not a for profit clan and all help given to one another is free. Do not sell pairs or singles you get from anyone here. Members are permitted, with special permission, to sell old pairs if those profits go towards purchasing or breeding specific natures for the clan. Do not sell pairs made from singles given to you by the clan when someone is requesting that pair (such as extra new exclusives and variant pairs).
In order to receive a pair from Arceus Wonders, you must be a member of the clan.
This clan does not help with regular 'Dexing.
Donate to other players at least once every two weeks. Keep track of your contributions to the clan and send your list to a clan leader. Pair Makers may add their contributions directly to the spreadsheet.
Accept trades from other players within a week
7 days
If you borrow a pair, you must return it within the time frame specified by the lender. If the pair is not returned, a report will be made, and you will not be allowed to borrow pairs from this clan in the future.

Clan Definitions

There are a few terms we use around here that would be handy to know the definitons of!

Miscellaneous Definitions

Singles or a Single: Singles are individual Pokemon that have not been paired together. This is what Shelter Hunters look for.
Maximum Percentage Pairs, Max % Pairs or similar: Maximum Percentage Pairs are two Pokemon who have the maximum possible percentage of compadability with one another in the Daycare. This is often 99%, but not always due to genderless and monogender pairs. See the second post for more information on these oddball pairs.
Pokemon Requested Listings or Listings: Pokemon Requested Listings or Listings are the list of Pokemon that have been requested by members. This list can have single requests on it as well as pair requests. This is what Shelter Hunters will reference to know what individual Pokemon they need to look for. Pair Makers will reference this to know who to send pairs to. The Pokemon Requested Listings are broken up by region. Each region has its own post. These posts can be found on pages one and two of the clan thread. There is also a quick table of contents at the top of this post linking to each official Clan Post.
Contributions: Contributions refer to your participation in the clan. Contributions are singles sent to other members with the intention of pair making and pairs sent to other members. Both Shelter Hunters and Pair Makers are expected to be recording their contributions and sending them to Clan Leaders one every two weeks.

Member Role Definitons

This clan operates through several different member roles;

Clan Leaders: Members who manage the clan, send out acceptance PMs, and keep the clan orginized and functioning, etc.
Region Leaders: Members who maintain the Pokemon Requested Listings for the region(s) they're in charge of.
Shelter Hunters: Members who look over the Pokemon Requested Listings and fufill requests.
Pair Makers: Members who look over the Pokemon Requested Listings to determine which single Pokemon to make pairs out of.

As a member, you can be more then one of the above roles! Whatever you are most comfortable doing. Please note that the Clan Leader and Region Leader positions are not often open.

How to join

What to expect when you apply: Your application will be reviewed by all of the region leaders. We take a majority vote and address any concerns we may have. Sometimes this process can take a few days. A Clan Leader will PM you with the final decision.

How to Participate

Now that you're a member, what do you do? Well, that depends on your role & what you're interested in doing!

How to Send Requested Pokemon or a Pair

To find the requested listings, visit each region. You can find those by clicking the links at the top of this post, or by scrolling down. Exclusives/Variants, Kanto-Unova are listed on Page 1 of this forum, Kalos-Paldea are listed on Page 2 of this forum. *Sometimes, in case of a hiatus, a region is moved to Page 2, and will be reflected by clicking the links at the top of the post (the region will also have an update saying they are on hiatus.)* Each region has at least two tabs. One of those tabs is the actual listings. They are hidden because they are very graphic heavy.

The red arrow is where you can find the tab with the listings. Above is shown the Exclusive/Variants region. It has 2 tabs for listings. The green arrow is the actual requested listing. Here you can see Honeydogz is looking for gentle Chark/Sharkoal. They are not picky about singles or a pair. The goal would be to make a pair, but they are accepting singles from different OTs to make their own pair. Please do not send Pokemon to the Region Leader, but send requests directly to the listed person. ** If you have extra Pokemon that are not being requested, please check out our spreadsheet. We made it so you don't have to go through all of our Pair Makers fields to see the pairs they are working on and where your extras might make a pair. **

How to Request a Pokemon or a Pair

To request a Pokemon, you'll want PM the Region Leader of the Region the Pokemon comes from with your request. For example, if I wanted to request a Charmander, I would PM Kanto's Region Leader. You can request , or a pair. This request can be specific if needed as well. Ex; Naughty Male Qwilfish. Check each region's post; the Region Leader may have a form to fill out to help you give us the right information. The Region Leader will then post your request(s) in the Pokemon Requested Listings tab.

How to Borrow a Pair

To borrow a pair, check the second post of this thread and click the tab titled "Pair Borrowing." Some users have shops with their pairs listed, some users have journal entries, and some users ask you to PM them directly. Follow the instructions provided for each specific user. A user should not charge you to borrow pairs. Please reach a Clan Leader if this happens. Remember to include that you're a member of Arceus Wonders somewhere in your PM to request a pair.

Shelter Hunter's Responsibilities

As a Shelter Hunter, it is your responsibilty to help us keep the Pokemon Requested Listings down. You can either send single 'Mons directly to the user who has requested the pair, or to Pair Makers. should be attached to at least the initial trade. Please keep track of how many 'mons you send to each user per day. Ex; Sent 10 to Username on June 20th, 2023. You should PM a Clan Leader with your contributions once every two weeks. You can view where we keep track of contributions in this spreadsheet. While this role is titled Shelter Hunter, you can obtain these Pokemon through many other ways, such as: Your hatches, other's free fields, wonder trades, and of course, the shelter. Shelter Hunters will then send the singles they've collected to either the user requesting the pair, or Pair Makers. If you have extra singles as a Shelter Hunter, you can send them to a Pair Maker listed in the spreadsheet for future member's needs. Try to send your extra singles to a variety of users, and not just one person.

Pair Maker's Responsibilities

As a Pair Maker, it is your responsibility to have the

Matchup Checker and understand how pair making works. Pair Makers will then check the singles together until they have a . They will then send the completed, maximum percentage pair to the user who requested it. Hooray! If you make extra pairs or have extra singles as a Pair Maker, you can keep them and record them in our spreadsheet for future member's needs. PM a Clan Leader for access to the editable version of this sheet. If you are unable to use sheets, you may PM a Clan Leader with the additions you'd like to make to the sheet. Please keep track of pairs you make and singles you swap with other pair makers. Ex; Made Bulbasaur Pair for Username on June 20th, 2023. Or: Sent 4 Pokemon to [Username] on June 20th, 2023. You should PM a Clan Leader with your contributions once every two weeks. You can view where we keep track of contributions in this spreadsheet.

Unown Breeding

Unown breeding is it's own beast, we reccomend getting two of the same letter that can make a maximum of 60% compatibility. Unown do not need to be two seperate OTs to create a 60% maximum compatibility. Unowns of your OT will not be affected by the typical compatibilty nerf. Exclusive/Variant Breeding tips

Kinaster can be obtained by breeding a Lunupine with a Solynx while both parents have maximum Affection.

In order to hatch a female Petripeep, an Ice-type Pokémon must be present in the user's party. To hatch a male Petripeep, a Fire-type Pokémon must be present. Even with the corresponding types, there is still a chance that the Petripeep will hatch genderless.

In order to hatch a Boreal Forme Flurrawr, hatch the eggs in slots 1 and 2.

To hatch a Austral Forme Flurrawr, hatch the eggs in slots 5 and 6. Slots 3 and 4 of a user's party will hatch a random forme Flurrawr.

Guild Igglybuff can be by breeding with a male of the Guild Line, or by breeding a female Wigglytuff who knows her favorite Scour Location and has 5 IVs at 31. Unown breeding is it's own beast, we reccomend getting two of the same letter that can make a maximum of 60% compatibility. Unown do not need to be two seperate OTs to create a 60% maximum compatibility. Unowns of your OT will not be affected by the typical compatibilty nerf.
