In an effort to improve the retention of new users, and to help them understand the basics a little better, here are a few updates. The Egg Timer is a nice feature, right? It helps your Eggs to hatch faster with passive EXP gain, allowing you to progress even if you don't get many clickbacks, and incentivising you to go out there and make interactions. Unfortunately, it's not particularly well-explained, and it's easy for a new user to see the hours-long default timer caused by a Lv1 Egg Timer and think PFQ is just another of those mobile games that makes you sit around for hours or pay to skip. To help make it clearer, a note has been added to the Party page, if you have any Eggs in your Party: This should help new players understand that the timers are not "wait this long" but rather "here's how long it would take if you do literally nothing else", as well as provides additional links tot the Egg Timer page and some useful clicking links. If you are a veteran user who does not want to see this message, the CSS to add to your skin is #eggtimeinfo {display:none}
Another common issue that people run into is that they don't realise there are two places to view your Party. Your "Public Profile" and your "Party" pages both show the information and even allow you to play the game without ever visiting the other, but both have very different information on them. In particular, if you never check the Party page, then you may never notice the Task List or the new message I added. To help users realise there are two versions of the page, another message has been added to the Profile page: For new users in particular, once they see this message, they may well notice the message about the Egg Timer! Again, if you are a veteran user, the CSS to add is #thisisyourprofile {display:none}
And finally, a feature that actually does something: new users will receive a passive EXP Boost to Eggs. You receive boosted EXP to Eggs depending on how many you have hatched so far, starting at ×4 for your first Egg, gradually scaling down to ×1 after you've hatched 100 Eggs. This feature is explained on the EXP Boosts page, where you can see your current multiplier with this new boost: Uh... Whoops. Forgot a clamp there!
Hopefully these changes help new players stick around a little longer :)
EDIT: A feature for not-so-new users, you can now click "Find missing entries" on the Summons page to get information on what entries you are missing from a given region. This should help a lot for things like regional variants that are still listed as their native region in the Dex, but count as their variant region for the purpose of Summons. Hope that helps!

If you're using the QoL script you can add the CSS to the big box at the bottom. For other people's skins I'm not too sure as I'm using my own. For those who are using their own custom skins, the big box is in the Skin Editor under "Extra CSS". You can also condense it into one line if you'd like: #eggtimeinfo, #thisisyourprofile {display: none} edit: I tested it on my own skin and it doesn't seem to work properly. I recommend putting it into the QoL script's custom CSS.

Oh I love these updates! I think this should also help users who come back to play from years long hiatus, remembering little to nothing how to play. "Find missing entries" is amazing update. Much easier to check there and have them all neatly listed.

That are some neat updates. I love it, that we can see now the missing Dex entries at the summons page. Keep up the good work.

if adding the CSS to stylus it is instant with nothing else to do. if adding it to your skin, you will need to clear cache with every change... OR press ctrl+F5 on pages it effects to clear cache for that page.
