Extended 'About Me'

Felt there was more I wanted to put in my about me than would fit neatly in my profile, so here we go!

Hi! I go by Blue, and I'm two Mudkips and a worm in a trenchcoat :) You can also call me doodlekip, or Kip, or Doodle, or pretty much anything else-- I'm not too picky! (My username used to be goodmorningblue; you can call me that as well if you wish!) I'm a lifelong fan of Pokémon and a (mostly) . I joined PFQ in January of 2023, and I'm very glad that I did-- this community has been nothing but lovely so far <3 As for my journal, the types of things I usually post here are updates about my current PFQ-related projects, but I may also post some art here too every now and then! (Fair warning though, my posts tend to get pretty rambly and long-winded haha ^^')

I hoard Mews and Mudkips! If you have any of either you don't want, you can always send them to me-- they'll find a good home at my farm :) I'd be happy to pay a bit of spare change for them too, if you'd like!

I collect water and psychic deltas. If you're selling any, you're always welcome to PM me to see if I'd be interested in buying! May not always have the currency though, especially for S/As, so keep this in mind! (Huge shoutout to everyone who's randomly gifted me one or more though at any point, thank you <3)

While I don't actively nature-collect, my favorite natures are Timid and Brave-- and I'd especially love to buy timids and braves of Pokémon I collect!

I have an eventual goal of making a complete* Johto living dex using only self-hatched timid shinies. This is a side project I work on from time to time, but it's not one of my higher priorities! (*maybe not Unown... or at least not every Unown)

I am PM-friendly, but: I'm a bit awkward and not always the most coherent in my sentence structure. You're always welcome to ask for clarification if needed, I won't mind! Gifts are, under no circumstances, required for any reason-- this includes reciprocating a gift I've given. (On the same note, I may not return gifts.) Specials given to me as gifts mean a lot to me-- they'll never be UFT or traded for DP <3 And pssst... if you collect something, let me know and I'll probably make note of it for future reference hehe

But I'd prefer it if my first melan was self-hatched, and I am... very far off from actually hunting a melan, lol. I really want to start passively saving up Adamant Orbs for a shiny Dialga hunt far in the future Problem is I haven't been using my summons very much at all so I don't have a lot of chain unlocks yet ;; Since summons are (kind of) rare my brain really wants to save them for when special odds are boosted (Sei days, PotD days, days I charge my Albino radar, TR, etc.) I do have a Kagami, Magatama, and Kusanagi I can use to unlock Dialga summons though! I'll probably use them tomorrow on Sei day with a Lv. 6 albino radar in the rare event that one of them does decide to sparkle

Update: Used the summons and then immediately started a Rockruff chain for a one-day hunt without thinking T-T I guess I'll be using up three Egg Passes-- I have so few shelter adopts as it is right now that I don't want to waste any Edit: Also found an Unown egg I didn't have yet, and since I'd really like to avoid having to breed for those later on I went ahead and adopted it... guess I'm using up 4 out of my 5 remaining Egg Passes today
