General Trade Shop Rules

Note: Each section of this Shop also has its own specific set of additional rules, be sure to check them too.

1. No Trade-Related PMs.

Please, post all your requests and questions here. I explain why in the FAQ.

2. First come, first served.

Self-explanatory.

3. You can reserve Items/Pokemon.

Just make sure you can pay for them in a reasonable amount of time.

4. Subscribe to this thread at least until we complete our trade(s).

This way I won't have to chase you through PMs or wait for your response for days in case I need to ask you for a clarification on your order or something.

5. Be patient.

I reply/send trades ASAP (usually within a few minutes since you post if I'm online). If I don't, however, it means that I'm either busy with something or simply asleep. And no, posting here again or PM-ing me won't speed me up. One notification from my Trade Shop is enough, really.

6. Once you buy something you can do whatever you want with it.

It's yours, after all. I can only say that I wish the Specials you buy from me (especially Melans) aren't exchanged for DPs.

7. Don't ask for things that aren't UFT (Up For Trade).

If something isn't clearly labelled as such it means that I don't want to sell it, simple as that.

8. No SPAM.

Including (but not limited to): writing multiple posts in a row instead of editing your first one if I didn't reply yet. And making ridiculous offers (such as "Can I have your cool Melanistic Bunbori for 5 GP?").

9. Make your orders clear.

Be sure to include what you want and how you are going to pay.

10. Link the Pokemon you want to buy/Dex Trade.

Use one of the following BBCodes, whichever you prefer:
[url]Link to the Pokemon[/url] [url=Link to the Pokemon]Link text[/url]

11. The initial non-gift trade will be set up by me.

Please, send the whole payment in it.

12. If you want your traded Pokemon back be sure to let me know.

Otherwise I'll keep it for myself or release it.

13. The exchange rate.

The exchange rate I use here is: 1 ZC = 5 GP = 5k Cr

14. All posts with fully completed trades will be upvoted by me

Please, don't upvote anything yourself.
More to be added if necessary.

FAQ

I wrote this section mainly for newer players. If this is your first time buying from a Trade Shop, please read this.

1. How to set up/complete a trade?

Go to the Trade Centre (btw it's a page worth bookmarking by clicking on the "More" button on the NavBar). Or open the direct link to the trade from the notification you receive when I sent you one. Most options there are self-explanatory but if you're unsure what to do, check the Wiki. You can also send a Pokemon in a trade directly from its Summary (Click on the 3 lines menu -> Send in Trade). It's way faster and useful if you're trading a lot of Pokemon to one person (eg: during a Dex Trade). That's also why people always ask for the clickable links to the Pokemon (more on that below).

2. How to link a Pokemon?

If you click on any Pokemon's name you'll open its summary page (example). This is the page you need to link me in order for me to send you the Pokemon you want. You can grab the link from the url bar
the place with the address of the page you're on
of your browser. Then all you need to do is copy and paste it to your post. Well, almost all. Because when you also use one of these BBCode:
[url][Link to the Pokemon][/url] [url=Link to the Pokemon]Link text[/url]
you'll make the link clickable and way easier to open. (And you can find more info on BBCodes here).

3. Could you reserve something for me?

Sure! I said so in Rule 3.

4. What is the exchange rate of the PFQ currencies?

The exchange rate I use here is: 1 ZC = 5 GP = 5k Cr

5. What does (insert an abbreviation here) mean?

Here's a great guide to them.

6. Can I buy (insert something not labelled as UFT here)?

Rule 7 should answer that question.

7. Do I have to post here to buy something?

Yes. It's because allowing people to ask for the same things in multiple different places (like the PMs) can and will cause problems. The Trade Forums don't bite, really :) There are many kind people trading here all the time. I know social anxiety is a thing (I have it too, believe it or not). I can assure you, though: people don't really care what others are buying for themselves. It's just like in a regular shop in your local town :) So if you see a cool Shiny on sale and you really want it don't be afraid, just ask for it (assuming you have enough currency for it, of course :) ). And posting in the Trade Threads helps keep them alive, in more ways than one :) Preventing them from being deleted for inactivity is the main reason, though (besides the transparency on what has been already sold).

8. How to post here?

You can either choose the "Reply to thread" option from the Thread Commands or scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page where you can find the "Reply to this thread" link. And then you write what you want (if you're on mobile you may also want to disable the editor if it causes you any trouble with writing) and click "Post" when you're finished.

9. Do you require a form for posting?

No. And personally I'm against enforcing them on others because they can be pretty tedious/annoying to use. But if you have one and would like to use it here, go ahead, I don't mind it. Just make your offer clear (both what you want to buy and the payment), that's enough for me :)
More to be added if necessary.

Updates and Announcements

April 12th, 2024: Added Shiny and Albino Magnemite, as well as one Melan Magnemite, to the stock.
April 12th, 2024: Shiny and Albino Helioptile added to the stock. Enjoy!
April 5th, 2024: Added Basket Happiny, Babaisy, Jestur, and Perroc Perfect Breeding Pairs. These were the last 4 I needed to make. Yes, you're reading that right. As of now every breedable Pokemon pair (at the time of writing) is available in this Shop for lending. I know I was supposed to add them a few days ago but I got sick and could barely play the game. And I just recovered enough to be able to test all the Pokemon I gathered.

March 2024

March 31st, 2024: I was recently made aware that the value of Special Legendaries is higher than I originally thought so I decided to significantly raise their price. Additionally, I just added Shiny and Albino Joltik from my current hunt to the stock.
March 28th, 2024: Alright, my Shop is open now! Apologies for the delay, figuring out the new layout and writing all the posts took way longer than I expected. The only thing missing right now are Dex Trades (which require posting all display codes of my Specials and other rare Pokemon to a new Journal and cleaning up my Fields, so it may take a while) and 3 Breeding Pairs (at least 2 of which should be ready by the end of the week, with a little luck).

Specials UFT

Additional rules

In addition to the General Rules these are:
1. All Shinies and Albinos for sale are visible in my UFT Fields. I've considered adding the display codes for them here but I have so many Specials that doing so would cause this post not to render properly during the infamous Lag spikes™. The Shinies and Albinos are, however, grouped by food preference, this should help you find the natures you want. The only Specials for sale with display codes here are the Melans, which are named after their Natures. 2. Check my Fields and all posts made within the past 24 hours before posting to make sure the Pokemon you want are still available. 3. Link the Pokemon you want using one of these BBCodes (whichever one you prefer):
[url]*LINK GOES HERE*[/url]
[url=*LINK GOES HERE*]*TEXT OF YOUR LINK*[/url]
4. Don't offer things not listed in the price list. 5. Paying in mixed currencies is fine (eg: partially in Credits and GP). 6. If you're new to trading read this Shop's FAQ. (It's in the first post) 7. If any of my unsold and unreserved UFT Melans (or their evolutions) gets any new forme (Mega Evolution, Paradox Forme, Totem Forme, new Evolution; basically anything that adds a new entry in PFQ's Pokedex), either a cannon one or from an event, I auto-reserve it for myself the moment said forme is revealed anywhere.

There's only one more rule this section needs: 1. Items are relatively hard to price. Their values can change dramatically over time. Due to this, please make your own offers roughly based on the current Market prices. Any of the main PFQ currencies (Cr, GP and ZC, or a mix of them) are fine

Breeding Pairs UFT

Additional Rules

1. All pairs are visible in my Fields. I can't post all of them here due to the same reasons I can't post the display codes for all my Shinies and Albinos for sale - the Lag spikes™ could often prevent this post from loading properly if I did so. 2. All pairs are 99% (or whatever is the max for them). 3. These Breeding Pairs are intended for longer hunts. If you just want to breed one Egg for your EggDex please go to the EggDexing section of this Shop (in the next post). 4. The prices are: - 10 GP or equiv. for cannon Pokemon pairs - 20 GP or equiv. for PFQ Variant/Exclusive pairs 5. These are all additional pairs I made during my quest for getting all perfect Breeding Pairs. While I may make more in the future I'm not taking any requests for making specific pairs. 6. If you want a specific pair, please link it (both Pokemon). Use one of the following BBCodes, whichever you prefer:

Dex Trades

Temporarily unavailable, I need to make a Journal with everything I have to offer first (and my Fields are too messy for now)

Egg Dexing

Do you miss an Egg Dex entry but can't find that Egg anywhere? If so, you've come to the right place! Throughout all of these years I've managed to get all breeding pairs with perfect compatibility (at the time of writing). Most of them are properly levelled (and the ones that aren't yet will soon be). You can see them in my Fields.

Rules

1. If it can be bred, I have a pair for it. 2. All Egg Dexes are PWYW. 3. Return my pairs when you're done with breeding them ASAP. 4. Don't do anything "funny" to my pairs. Don't release them, steal them, evolve them (some Pokemon are purposefully left unevolved, for higher compatibility, see Wiki. Basically return them in the exact same state as you got them (with their Level being the only possible exception), otherwise I'll report you). 5. Due to the risk of breaking rules 4 and 6 being way higher for lower rank players, you need to be at least at the Champion Rank or higher to use this service. 45% Egg- and PokeDex completion should be achievable without much outside help. Wiki page about Ranks 6. Once the day finally comes and the update to the DayCare happens it will irreversibly break replace the current pair making system with a new, much worse and needlessly convoluted one. Here's an explanation from the man himself on how it will work:

QUOTE originally posted by Niet

Compatibility rebalancing

- Compatibility will be recalculated when couples meet each other again. Only the RNG portion (which accounts for about 8 percentage points) will remain fixed. This update will wipe all existing compatibility data. I don't like that part, but since the database only saves the final answer and not the breakdown, I cannot isolate just the RNG portion to preserve it. In most cases this won't matter, but it will affect couples made of different species. For example, breeding an Eevee with a Growlithe would yield a certain compatibility, but breeding a Flareon with a Growlithe is better because their types match. Under the current system, if the couple met as an Eevee then they would remain at their lower compatibility even after evolving; the new system will allow for re-evaluation. This also enables some min-maxing potential - continuing this example, evolving the Growlithe would negatively affect the couple's compatibility due to Arcanine's greater size. - Pokémon from the same evolutionary line will still have some compatibility calculations, rather than just maxing out compatibility by default. This mostly involves size differences, but it may also be affected by Pokémon that change type as they evolve. A Flareon and a Glaceon won't be as highly compatible, for example. Pokémon of the exact same species will always be fully compatible since everything matches between them. Ditto will also benefit from full compatibility due to its Transform ability, though breeding rate won't be as high for other reasons. - The "received from trade" bonus to compatibility will be nerfed in that it no longer stacks when both Pokémon are received from trade. This allows you to just receive one from trade, and partner it with your own Pokémon in search of good compatibility, rather than having to worry about both. Note however that receiving both Pokémon from the same OT will not benefit from any trade bonus. This does mean that (base) compatibility will tend to max out around 80%, however with the planned Rank Rewards increasing breeding rate, as well as buffs to the modifiers, you will still be producing more Eggs overall, and more easily.
Yeah, much worse and more convoluted than what we have now. How will that work with Pokemon with multiple evolutions, formes, gender differences, monogender and genderless Pokemon, PFQ Fakemon (which internally are all a forme of Missingno)? So many questions, so little answers. And the aesthetically pleasing and completionists tempting 99% max base compatibility won't be a thing anymore? I really don't see any benefits to this part of the update. Thankfully, Niet also said that it may be possible to keep the existing pairs as they are now and give us an option to change them to the new system manually. When that happens and that will be an option, please, for the love of Arceus, don't use that option to update the pair making system on my pairs. Make it temporarily hidden with CSS even, if that will be possible, to avoid this. (I'll post the code here, when and if it will be necessary) I've spent so much time trying to preserve all perfect pairs made under the current, better system. I really don't want to lose them. 7. You can ask for as many pairs as you need at once. However you'll get only 5 of them at once and you'll get the next batch once you fully return the last one. Please list them all in a single post in groups of 5 separated by an empty line to make keeping track of what I've lent you easier. This will also prevent the possible issues of double posting and having to resort to PMs.

List of unbreedable Pokemon

- All cannon Legendary/Mythical Pokemon - All PFQ Legendary/Mythical Pokemon (Bunbori, Lunamor, Shinorin and Sikannos) - The PFQ Exclusives from the last 2 seasons (these currently are Platykit, Sugarcoatl, Destrel and Humbee) - While the PFQ Exclusives from the 3rd to last Season (currently Jestur and Embretta) technically CAN be bred, it's so ridiculously hard, you're honestly better off buying them from the Tournament Shop. They only have a 2%(!) chance to actually succeed in making an Egg. From my experience even the notoriously hard Koroku and Kinaster are easier to breed. Sure, I can lend you a pair if you REALLY want to try and see for yourself, in that case expect to make tens of thousands interactions for the whole day without any results, though.

Trade Evolution

Introduction

Just like in the core series Pokemon games there are many Pokemon that evolve by trade on PFQ. For the most part it works exactly the same as in the official games - the Pokemon needs to be traded to another user, often holding a specific item. The main difference is that while in games the Pokemon evolve automatically after trading, on PFQ the evolution needs to be triggered manually, just like any other evolution. The other difference is that PFQ has Gift Trade which are faster and, for the purpose of evolution, work exactly the same as regular trades*. *well, with 2 infamous exceptions - namely Shelmet and Karrablast.

How does it work?

It's simple! You don't need to post here beforehand or PM me. Just send a labelled Gift Trade with the Pokemon you want to Trade Evolve to me and I'll send it back to you ready to evolve. You need to provide the required item and the Pokemon must be holding it. Attaching the item to the trade itself won't work. There are no limits to how many Pokemon you can send at once. And I do it completely for free ^^

Regarding Shelmet and Karrablast

Shelmet and Karrablast, however, are tricky - since they need to be traded with each other in one trade to evolve Gift Trades won't work on them. Luckily I have both of them so even if you only have one I can still help. For these 2 specifically send them in regular trades. And then send my own Shelmet/Karrablast back to me. And please don't evolve my own Shelmet and Karrablast - I have only one of each and I need them to help others too. I'm writing this here because although they are Everstoned, nicknamed and have custom descriptions even with all that I still had some people evolving them because they didn't pay attention. So please, be careful with them. Moreover, due to performance issues Sally only checks the last performed trade to see if a Trade-Evolving Pokemon can evolve. And while usually this in not a problem, it does matter for our 2 Bug Pokemon. After the trade with each other they have to be evolved before they are sent in any other trade. BUT they can be traded with each other one more time, to allow you to evolve them by yourself, if you want. So once you accept one trade just set up another regular trade with my Shelmet/Karrablast (whichever you just got) and once you get your Bug Pokemon back you can evolve it.

Time-based Evolution

Introduction

There are many Pokemon that evolve only during specific time of day. Since PFQ's Server Time follows the GMT and doesn't allow us to set our custom time zones it means that many users struggle to evolve certain Pokemon (daytime evolutions during winter, nighttime evolutions during summer, Dusk Lycanroc always). While I can't change PFQ's programming I can however offer some help with these time-specific evolutions. I live in Central Europe which means I have easy access to all 3 timeframes for time-specific evolutions for the whole year.

Rules

1. You don't need to post here but make sure to properly label your Gift Trades when you send your Pokemon for evolution. 2. You need to provide the necessary item, if required. And raise your Pokemon to the required Level. 3. In the case of Dusk Lycanroc make extra sure your Rockruff has maxed Affection, not Happiness (you rise it using Perfect Berries). Here's an example, look at Lyra's contest stats. Trades with Rockruffs without maxed Affection will be declined with a link to this post for explanation. 4. If you want a specific forme of Alcremie be sure to include the proper Sweet item and specify the exact forme. 5. If a Pokemon also needs high happiness to evolve that won't be a problem at all. Even though trading resets Happiness I have a huge stash of Sweet Hearts I can feed to your Pokemon at no cost at all.
Similar to Trade Evolutions I do this completely for free. Oh, and speaking of trading resetting happiness if you want to quickly reset the happiness of your Eevee to evolve it into a Sylveon I can help with that too. (happiness takes priority for the evolution because it can be lowered, unlike affection).

Yes, that will be fine. I decided to stick to the 1 DP : 1 ZC rule for now. Nowadays the prices for Specials are... interesting, to say the least. Today I've seen someone with a Melan Galarian Ponyta in their Party priced at barely 300 ZC, way below even its DP value. Higher DP Vouchers themselves are also cheaper then they should be, according to the DP : ZC ratio. Shiny/Albino Legendaries also became less "Special" with all the Melan hunts for them. Melan hunters often struggle with selling their Shinies/Albinos at higher prices and I don't really think I can compete with them. However if you think it would be more fair to pay a bit more for these 3 feel free to do so :) And now that I think about it I will also ask my friends about the special Legendary prices and maybe adjust them a bit.
