!!!!! Yeeeeeesss I mean, technically he's not the first melan in the dex since I dextraded for a couple, but he is the first one I've hatched on my own. Finally!

...I'm gonna have to set up a shop at some point. So many extra shinies and albinos building up in my fields...

...It occurs to me how lucky I was with my other two melans - those were both from chains under 2000. Meanwhile, this Chinchou chain's approaching the 2500 mark without a melan to show for it.

Wheeeee finally got the Pokerus I needed to evolve my way through two levels of Water and Electric badges. Still no melan luck, though, and now I've once again got the chore of clearing out all the evolved mons to make room for fresh ones.
