The old Omanyte albino had a much more cream colored shell.
Additionally, the old Omanyte/Omastar melan sprites had bright blue shells. I can't find Omanyte, but here's Omastar.

Just found out that my melan delcatty and skitty have the old sprite in dressup cx
I also kept the old melan litwick in my about me, not sure if this is lost or not
