Search in Forums

Suggestion Title: Search in Forums Suggestion Summary: The ability to search keywords in the forums like: "summons", "key iteams", "adoption", ect. would be help when searching though a lot of pages of threads. Positive points: Faster searching when there are lots of pages, can help getting information and seeing if something with that keyword has already been posted (helpfull with the suggestions, help, and bug forums) Negative points: Might slow down Sally when searching for keywords. A system like Tags might have to be implimented too possibly Reason For Consideration: it would make searching much easier and faster. Plus people can search if a bug, suggestion and questions has already been awnsered (sorry for any typos or if the suggestion is confusing. thank you for your consideration)

Lil question: do you mean per page? If so you can use the browser search function to search for keywords per page Short-Key for this is STrg + F with that you can type in the words you're looking for :) So I don't support this suggestion :/ What I would support though is the function to search posts you made recently ^^

There used to be a search function before the recode. I'm not sure if it's coming back, but I did find it useful at times.

I accidentally created a suggestion the same as this, but I thought that I might put down a few points that I wrote on my suggestion here. For a placeholder, maybe there could be a Google Search bar to search through the forums. While this isn't as precise, it would be a nice implement for the time being for the more commonly asked questions. It wouldn't put as much pressure on Sally because it's using Google's Search Engine. Either than that, I approve because, like I said in my first sentence, I accidentally made the same suggestion because I didn't look carefully enough through the suggestions forum, so I support a search function of some sort.

i didnt know that was a thing but i'm also confused. i dont see a STrg key antwhere on my keyboard. and i mean searching though all the pages in a section of the forums, like the sub forums, not one page.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the German label for the Control (CTRL) key.

Agree. This is very, very, VERY positive function. It's just comfortable thing which have every forum, right?.. When I was a newbie - this very confused me... it was difficult to learn the forum, search for the prices, etc, because there is just no search :/ But! I wanna say about negative points too: Of course, it was so difficult to learn the prices without search, but this is positive for economics of shops. For example, now I can just set my own price and waiting for buyers and they will buy my stuff just because they found my shop on first page. If forum will have the good search function: probably, customers will not buy my stuff, because now this is easy to find lowest prices. So, this is good for buyers and not very good for shop owners. I think so. (sorry for my bad English, but I hope you understand my opinion)

If this is talking about like the sub forum as a whole I agree with this. It would make going through the Approved or rejected Suggestions easy so that you can make a good suggestion in the future. It also makes it easy to go through the RP forums for the ones you feel you would like the best.

thank you for clearing that up neit :) and for the others i see what you mean by it being good for buyers and not so much sellers. Maybe it can only be for the suggestions and help forums? i know the short keys do the same them as what i suggested but it would be VERY helpfull for people on mobil who cant use short keys.

A browser's search function isn't short key only. I don't know about your mobile device's built-in browser (the one that came with its purchase), but the big ones such as Chrome and Safari have a menu option for the search tool. Here's a screenshot of Chrome on my Android phone.
