So apparently my fire token was the highest priced on the market which is Wild but someone still bought it? Like why? I appreciate it but why?

I'm investigating exactly how delta types affect field affinity, so I put a bunch of differently-typed lotad, all at 27% happiness, in fields that match their type, and I'm going to see if some get happier faster than others. I already know that they will get happier in fields that match their type, even if it doesn't match their non-delta typing, and I'm pretty sure that lotad (water/grass) get happier faster in grass fields than water, since water types like grass fields and grass types dislike water fields.

At 55% happiness I moved the rock type delta to a poison field. When the other deltas were at 84% it was at 69%.

well anyway I realized that if I give my all to type races every month, I'll basically be spending a quarter of my time on that, which tbh I don't super care about, rather than my melan hunts, which I really do, so maybe I should stop
As a follow up to two posts ago, I'm conducting a second experiment on field happiness using just regular lotad in every type of field I own (except for water and grass because I already did those). Every lotad linked below is at 27% happiness at the time of posting.

14 hours later, the results bear out my hypothesis: matching the field type results in +1.6% per hour, liking the field type results in +0.8 per hour, being neutral results in 0% per hour, and disliking the field type results in -0.8% per hour, with the effect being additive. I know this isn't the case with vampire gligars though (they get unhappy in ground type fields), but for lotad it works.
My computer just up and died as I was writing this post, so TAKE TWO.
New hypothesis: delta pokemon use whatever type (new or original) has the highest affinity with the field to calculate % happiness increase in a field.

Conclusion: slightly different from what I thought; the non-delta rate of change is calculated (so the rates for both types in case of a dual type pokemon are added), and that is compared to the delta type's rate of change, and the higher is used.
I finally finished mega evolving all the delta gyarados I had for my living hatched dex a few days ago! Now I'm at 15/12/9 for my magikarp line delta dex.
