Life at PFQ

I finished the code to display the wishforge status in my about section. In my opinion it gives me a clearer idea of how many gems I need to reach the next badge level.

Wishforge pokemon

This is a table of pokemon that can be used to get the next badge once the required gems are acquired. I have the following criteria for eligibility, from fast to slow:

• Fields (without level requirements) are the fastest
• Happiness (may need a specific time)
• Items (may need a specific time and/or Pokemon)
• Trade (may need an item)
• Leveling

Two days ago Katie had an excellent idea: Given we need the megas to reach Arceus rank, she proposed to divide the list between the 2 of us so we could gather them all, then dex from each other. She also made this table to keep track of our progress.

It's good to be back after a lengthy vacation from the site. Fortunately I don't have much to catch up in terms of Dex completion. The one that will likely take me some time to complete is the Sylvally types, because I want my own Sylvallies. So far I have all the memories, I just need some more Sylvallies to complete my collection... Mmm... I gotta get more boxes to finance this endeavor.

Finally my Sylvally collection is complete! I still have to give a name to the field (Sylvallies is lame). I'm almost finished with the Furfrou haircuts, in the meantime I've been breeding Pasovans to do the same.

When I started (I'm talking about PF1) I bought fields and placed pokemon in the order they were collected, that's why the types aren't "sorted", at least the way PFQ does (Normal, Fire, Water, Electric, etc.), nor the pokemon are sorted. If you look at my fields, you'll see regular, legendaries, megas, exclusive and variants mixed. I was thinking that instead of reorganizing my fields, I should buy new ones and do a live dex, according to the national dex (Kanto, Johto, etc.), and after that megas, variants and exclusives will follow. The megas will mix regular and Q ones, sorted by dex number. This has been a project I've been considering for a long time, as the dex keeps growing and my fields are starting to get a bit messy. I don't want to reorganize them because I want to keep my fields in "chronological" order, same with my pokemon. Also I love to name my fields according to some characteristics about them. Most of the references come from WoW, and some others are original (Teha'kahn). I know this will take a long time to complete, but it'll keep me busy and interested in the site. My idea is to keep the pokemon locked at the level they evolve (if applicable), I hope I don't forget to do so LOL.

At the same time I prepare to do my live dex, I'll keep track of the megas I actually have, not the ones I have dexed.

Today I started my live dex. I'll keep track of my progress in this post. I decided to set myself some rules about my live dex:

• All pokemon will be of Jolly nature (sweet preference)
• It'll cover gender differences. That's why some pokemon will be listed twice, whether the icon is different or not.
• The pokemon levels will be locked and subjected to the following criteria
  • Babies and unevolved pokemon will be at level 1
  • Evolutions will be at the required level to reach said evolutions (for example, Venusaur at level 16, Ivysaur at level 32)
  • Pokemon that require happiness, trading or a certain item to evolve will be at the level required by its previous evolution , or at level 1 if there's none. Examples are Crobat at level 22, Lopunny at level 1, Mime Jr. at level 1
