Here's a guideline: Story & Lore He showed up in Cele's yard one day, tired and battered. She offered him a Pecha Berry but before he could say anything to accept or decline it, he collapsed out of exhaustion. She nursed him back to health and was friendly with him even when he wouldn't say much. Eventually, he somehow became friends with Cele, and though he's never spoken of his past with her, she seems to understand he's carrying a heavy burden. Regardless of that, she's always welcomed him with open arms and stuck by his side, welcoming him to live with her, and even trusting him enough to be the only Pokemon besides herself to ever get to touch the GS Ball without her going ballistic. Cele has even entrusted it to him to safeguard on various occasions, and Belial makes a point of never betraying that trust. He earns his keep by helping Cele with her shop by guarding the merchandise, deterring thieves, carrying heavy goods, and providing food so that Cele can focus on the storefront. Belial has had to work on his social skills and ability to express himself, and he's nowhere near as frigid as he was when they had first met. He comes across as blunt and aloof these days instead, though he can still be cold at times.
