I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to easily check the requirements to evolve a pokemon just because it's scouring or in the daycare. I know they can't be evolved in those circumstances, but the option to look at the requirements shouldn't just deactivate. It's really annoying.

The "is busy" is part of a multi-step check which includes "holding Everstone" and "is Custom Sprite". If any of these is true, it can't evolve at all, never mind what conditions are or are not met.

Is there a reason that "can't evolve currently" and "can't evolve at all" need to give the same result? Surely that's just a matter of tweaking the if statment? I'll fully admit that Javascript isn't my thing, but why couldn't it be something like if (everstone, custom sprite, etc) blah blah can't evolve; elseif (currently busy) can't evolve right now and maybe remind the user, but here's the evolution requirements; else here's the requirements; or even for the elseif elseif (busy or everstone) requirements including take the pokemon out of daycare/scour and/or remove the everstone; Is there something complicating this that I'm misunderstanding?

You can always go to the Pokedex proper and find the info you want there.

No offense, but I see no reason for this. Google is more convinient, ain't it? As for special evolutions, that's what Wiki and Pokedex is for, isn't it?

More convenient than just clicking the button on the site? Not really? If we're just supposed to use Google or the Wiki or whatever, why even have the button? I find it more convenient which is why I'd like it to be easier to use, it's obviously there for people who prefer that over Google, right?

You're talking a very specific circumstance tho. Currently you can only have 5 busy Pokemon max. If it's in the Daycare, you can just take it out. If it's scouring, just wait an hour. Or go look at the Pokedex.

Am I really the only one who puts Pokemon in the daycare to level, and not just for breeding?

...Maybe. If you don't want to load the Pokedex itself, click the Pokemon's name to go to its profile and then click the species name. That'll take you directly to its Pokedex entry which includes the evolution tree and requirements.

I'm with ya on this, Torako, I looked through the suggestions to see if this had been brought up before because I've been wondering about it for a while now. I use the daycare to level my Pokemon quicker than anywhere else because I have all of the boosts now. I'm not even worrying about breeding right now, and i guarantee that we're not the only ones. I'm not going to be able to remember what regions each Pokemon is from, and I don't want to have to look through everything, so I have to open up numerous regions at the same time and Ctrl+F to search the page for the name. The check requirements thing is already implemented, and the option to go ahead and evolve a Pokemon is elsewhere (where the berries would be, unnder the Pokemon's name and such) so it would be nice to be able to just poke that and see if the Pokemon is at a level where I can evolve it or not. I can understand the evolution action being blocked if the Pokemon is doing something, but just seeing what needs to happen in order to evolve the Pokemon would be nice. If I remove it whatever it's doing, likely daycare, I have to search through my fields for it again to put it back into my daycare if it's not at the level necessary, and my fields are stacked and sorted so I have to go through each field, line everyone up to the grid, and hope I don't overlook the Pokemon. I'm starting to get into just gathering Pokemon, so it'll only get more difficult as time goes on. I will say that I didn't know that clicking on the species name would take me directly to the PokeDex entry, so I'll do that.
