if you're new around here, you're probably wondering, what's the type race? well, it's a site-wide week long event where players are sorted into teams comprising of the 18 canon pokémon types! the goal of the race is to hatch eggs that are the same type as the team you're on--and if you're on team black hole eclipse this month, that means you'll wanna hatch as many dark-type eggs as you can (taking your own health into account, of course)! the rewards for participating are z-fragments which can be made into z-crystals, which when activated, boosts the albino chance of hatched pokémon matching the type of the z-crystal by 50% (granted that you have an active albino radar)! Mass-Clicking

Party Clicks

if you want to get party clicks fast (and have already gone through the type race clicklists), follow these steps! go to "# users online" located at the top of the page → "settings" → set the sort method to "interactions sent", page size to 50, and check the box next to "skip empty parties". then from the "users online" page, click "open all" and you'll be directed to a clicklist of 50 online users' parties!

Activity

don't feel bad if you can't participate for the entire event. take breaks when you can or if you need to, remember to stretch your wrists, and get some rest so you can give it your all when you can be active!

Teamwork

nothing's better during type race than having effective communication between team members and consistent thread activity! the team is here for you! i, as your team leader, am also open to answering any questions you have.

Plan your Party!

Family Bonus

remember that the "family bonus" exists! it's an exp bonus to eggs gained by having a 'mon of its line or forme of a 'mon in its line in your party. the boost is 40%, 70% and 110% respectively per pokémon added to the party. the bonus caps at three pokémon. i personally like to have one "family member" in my party alongside 5 Eggs, but you can do it however you want.

Timing

if you have eggs with a large ehp (for example, summonable legendaries like lugia or calyrex), plan to summon them before you go to sleep or before you'll be busy for awhile so that you can hatch them when you wake up/when you can get back online, instead of relegating a slot of your party to it while you're active (which will take up space)!

Eggs Galore

in the case you run out of daycare adoptions, daycare passes, AND shelter adoptions, you can look towards the lab for your next dark-type egg! remember that as long as the egg is dark-type, it won't break your active shiny chain! of course, continue to mass-click to produce dark-type eggs you can release to the shelter as well.
