Way to Grab User ID for URLs

First let me explain what I mean by this... your ID is most commonly seen on your party page, where it gives a link like this: "https://pfq.link/Corviknight or https://pfq.link/@Kp". You'll also see it used oftentimes in skins (example: skin path "Kp/mySkin"). This is less known, but it can actually be used as a replacement for pretty much every instance your username in a URL if you preface it with a colon. For example: https://pokefarm.com/user/Corviknight and https://pokefarm.com/user/:Kp both lead you to my userpage. The reason this ID is useful is because people change their username a lot, and it can be really hard to keep up with, especially now that the process is automated and more frequent. Codes and art will credit outdated usernames, images uploaded to the site will break, etc. Using the URL with the ID listed will always bring you to my page, no matter what, no matter how many times I might change my name. If you give me credit with that URL, it will always link you to the right place, which is a big time-saver for mods and users alike. The only thing preventing people from using these IDs is that there's no way to find out what a user's ID is without directly asking them (as far as I'm aware-- would love to know if there is a way after all). My suggestion is that, when you're on a user's page and you hit the "Get shortlink" at the bottom, it will provide the URL with their ID either in addition to or in lieu of the original shortlink. That, or the shortlink can redirect to the URL with that ID.

Support, I’m not sure there are even negative drawbacks to this. It definitely makes things easier and I’m guilty of changing my username in the middle of having a request filled.

Full support for this. I had no idea that link was unique and unchanging with username alterations. Since the updates of people being able to change their names each month, running a shop, keeping tabs on the VIP list and various other things like art credit and clicklists have been a nightmare to deal with. This would fix so many things! Just making that link visible to profile visitors would be so useful. Thank you for thinking of this and sharing the idea.

"Get shortlink" on profiles now uses the correct shortlink as shown on the profile page, which uses this ID.
