Even In the pokedex entry, it says it will evolve.

You can check a pokemon's evo requirements in the three lines on it's party thing, or by going to it's summary. Or by looking in the wiki if it's not in the dex.

Limitation of the implementation. I'll figure out a way around it because it really should tell you in the Dex but currently it doesn't.
