Information about me and my presence on Pokefarm! ♡ I have been on and off since I started here in 2016! My original starter was a Pichu named Plue, but was changed to Litten when the Alolan 'mons were added. I enjoy a variety of things including electric type Pokemon, cats, the color pink, glass bead jewelry making, driving, and collecting things. I am also crafty when it comes to making my own hot tea flavors, I play a lot of Minecraft and other "chill" video games, and I really enjoy writing research papers and collecting keys. My journal is just a place to practice code and store things for later!

I also frequent the trade threads and am a big fan of shiny hunting - I crave the sparkles. I will accept spar requests and do not enjoy IV breeding, exclusive breeding or PotD breeding. I'm a big fan of lofi music, butterflies and Winnie the Pooh. I have two cats of my own, and a collection of over 700 Pichu in visible fields (S&S). I love anything deemed "Cottagecore" and have a thing for angelic-themed clothing, cute and unique coffee mugs, and Kate Spade purses. I communicate better online as I have anxiety - but it's functional and I do work in customer service five days a week. My dream is to eventually own a cute little home and to own a Lexus RX 350 (I had an RX 330, now a 2000 Firebird). I miss it.

Occupation: Box collection scours. Method: I will send out three Pikachu from the first field and monitor how many boxes are brought back, and when. If the date is three days after the first scour, for example, the Pokemon will not be used. However, if three boxes are brought back in one day, I will continue using the specific Pokemon. Rare evolution items and box counts alongside the date will be kept in the Pokemon's description. Reason: Collecting boxes. Function: To determine the quality of the Pokemon in charge of the scour. Evaluation: Level does not seem to matter as much, it appears that quality of scour return depends on the specific Pokemon.

Buying/Dexing?

Preferred: Buying or Dexing?

~~Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on car insurance!~~ Sounds about right, doesn't it? What does this have to do with completing your dex? I'll explain in some simple terms. Time. Time is on your side. Time sounds like quite the issue when you aren't a patient person, but in the long run, it's definitely worth it.

Megas

Pros to Buying: You have your own mega and can send it out for others to dex, therefore making yourself some good old money. Cons to Buying: Prices range from 15 GP - 150 GP, depending on two things. Rarity of the mega, and the person selling. Why not just evolve it on your own and save some? Not only that, but Megas DO NOT SELL!! No one wants the Mega after it's been evolved; that's one less evolution to 5k evolutions. Pros to Dexing: Your fields aren't cluttered, you don't have to find someone to sell it to when you're done with it, and it's a lot cheaper. Cons to Dexing: It's not your own and it's hard to find certain Pokemon to dex. :(

S/A/M

Pros to Buying: It's your own to love and hold. You can do anything you want, since it's yours, and then you also don't have to hatch your hoard. Cons to Buying: You might love it now, but will you later? They also cost more to buy than to dex, and sending them out for dexing is more an issue because less people attempt to fill their S/A/M dex than they do their Megas. S/A/M don't count to filling the dex. Pros to Dexing: You don't have to buy tons of gross colored shinies and store them in your field. Cons to Dexing: It's not yours and later when you want one, you've already got the dex, so you then just have it because you wanted it.

Exclusives/Variants

Pros to Buying: You can send them out for dexing, don't have to worry about not getting all evolutions, can resell, collect / hoard, evolve, and basically anything you really want!. Cons to Buying: Are there really any cons? If anything, you're out some cash. Pros to Dexing: No field clutter!! As you buy fields, the price rises. Next thing you know, your 900 credit fields are now 12,000 credits - speaking from experience. Cons to Dexing: For one, if it's super cute, unfortunately, it isn't yours. Not only that, but depending on who's dexing, prices can range from free to 60 gp and so on.

Regular Pokes

Pros to Buying: It's yours to keep, evolve, and offer for other dexes. It's yours for good. Cons to Buying: Field clutter. Not only that, but you can't really resale regulars. It's kind of a waste of money. The best bet is to offer them to new players. They need their dexes. :3 Pros to Dexing: Cons to Dexing:

Neat Exclusives / Variants frequently flood my fields, as I'm constantly scouring the shelter for things I wouldn't normally find there. However, I feel the need to adopt despite the fact that I usually don't need what I get. It's just there, as is the urge to adopt. Lately I've been clearing fields, but I hate just releasing them, and some things just don't sell. With that, I would suggest tossing them into Wondertrade! Not only does that get them out of my personal space, but it gets them into the system. Eventually, it'll find a forever home, and I don't have to worry about it getting lost in the shelter, or myself possibly adopting it later. Wondertrade is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Shelter CSS

The original type race CSS was created by bishop, but here is an updated version, made by pheaux. Here you can find custom CSS, that you add to your site skin and that will highlight all eggs of your type race tea, so they are easier to find. To add it go to 'Farm' > 'Other Links' and select 'Site Skins' under the tool-section. If you use the default skin, you need to create a new skin first. Then follow the instructions in the post. If you haven't heard of Quality of Life changes (QoL), the UserScript offers advanced shelter search options, advanced lab search, field sorting and more.
