The rite part kind of reminds me of how in Erin Hunter books the animals pray to their ancestors after a sucessful catch. Anyway, awesome! I highly doubt I could write that much. And I really like stories that portray wild Pokémon as "wild animals WITH SPECIAL POWERS!" Or something. Maybe.
