1. Naturally the site and forum rules apply.
2. Be respectful to each other. Not everyone has the same level of experience, writing style, roleplaying style or worldbuilding methods and that’s okay. This clan should be a safe haven for all creative writers.
3. When you give feedback, make sure it’s constructive. Try to add why you like something or respectfully bring forward points of improvement.
4. There will be questions you can answer for or as your character, but that is the limit of roleplaying you can do in this clan. If you answer as your character, please use [IC].
5. No plagiarism or AI generated content, and respect the copyright laws. This means you may not copy/paste the work of other people without their permission.
6. Fanfiction is welcome as long as it is transformative and falls under fair use. A work is transformative when you do something new or refreshing with the original content. (Example from the Pokémon fandom: Ash Ketchum has an adventure not seen in the anime, or we follow an original trainer character on their adventures) A work is fair use is when it’s transformative, but also not commercial (you’re not making money on it) and what you take from the original source is limited (you can’t copy an entire chapter and only make minor changes).
7. We welcome creative writers of all ages, so please keep the discussion and anything you share PG. When in doubt, think of the 4Kid Pokémon anime dub or Disney movies for what is acceptable when it comes to romance/violence/death and keep in mind that things that have an age restriction in real life shouldn’t be mentioned here.
8. If you post something with sensitive topics or triggers, please use a double hide box with a warning for the trigger. If you link to something, make sure to add the triggers in the post.
9. You can bring attention to one of your roleplays, stories, poems or other creative writing once a week.

While this clan is new, it found its origin in two pre-existing clans: the writer's clan Pen and Paper, and the roleplayer's clan Written Adventures. Both were my clans since mid-2020. These were not the first writers and roleplayers clans though. So a special thanks to the previous leaders of these clans: Clow who created the original Pen and Paper clan, DuskAurora who took over after Clow, and HowlingCat who took over after DuskAurora. Constantine who created the original roleplayers clan The Imagination Federation, and SporkoRyk who took over.
