Does this cause diminishing returns the more Pokémon you add? Or is the only downside less party slots?

Adding a hatched Pokémon to your Party will give an EXP boost to Eggs of the same species. Adding more than one hatched Pokémon will increase the EXP boost, at the cost of taking up a Party slot.
