Single post in Styleclass and You: An Introduction

how can i have an a:link not apply to a certain section? i have one section for my friends' links which is styled, but then I also have pokemon panels, which also end up getting styled, and no matter what I try, it seems to always end up with the button/font/colors code crossing over.
