She seems distant and somewhat deadly but softens around hatchlings for some reason. History: Unknown, She won't tell. Power: Strong ice control, some mind reading (Mostly flashes that make no sense at the time), and minimum time powers but this wears her down faster. Weakness: Lightning and overuse of her time control. Also the fact that she hides her emotions can sometimes be a weakness.

Name: Consuming Shadows Age: 58, 931 yrs Gender: Male Rank: Rogue Personality: Dark and mysterious, he hates the other dragons because of how the older ones once treated him. He has a killer personality that caused many of the deaths during the war but he does have a kind side if someone is willing to welcome him. History: His parents died before he was born and he grew up alone. When his first power developed, his dark powers, the dragon tribes shunned him and he fled. He spent thousands of years alone until his other powers developed, then he turned against those that shunned him. Later he used the war to get revenge on many of the others but after the war he just vanished, no dragon has seen him since. Power: He can dip into other dragon's dreams and use this to learn their greatest fear (this often causes the dragon to have nightmares), he can turn phantom (this is where he is ghost like; it is impossible to see, hear, or even scent him in this state), and he can control various elements of darkness. Weakness: Anything to do with light, including fire and lightning.

Name: Unnamed Age: 1.2 yrs Type of Owl: Barn Owl Chaw: No particular one, she does work between chaws to survive. Nesting Place: Loner that moves from place to place. Skills/Flaws: She has weak starsight that often frightens her and she has yet to learn to understand it well. She is also a greater flyer and can read a few weather patterns. One of her greatest flaws though is her fear of being labeled a traitor by others, she does what she has to to survive, and she becomes extremely shy around other owls and even nest-maid snakes. You Are: Unnamed doesn't really care what others consider her, she disagrees with the Pure Ones view but will do anything to keep herself alive. One day she wishes to join the Guardians but for now fears that they would brand her a traitor. History: She was born into the Pure Ones but was quickly abandoned because she became "unmanageable" as they said. Name: Blazepaw (Blazeleaf) Gender: She-Cat Age: 9 moons Rank: Med. Apprentice Personality: Kind and generous around her clanmates but she can get aggressive around outsiders. History: Grew up in the clan and chose the path of a medicine cat during kithood.

Name: Snowpaw (Snowflame) Gender: She-Cat Age: 11 moons Rank: Apprentice Appearance: Snowpaw is a snowy white she-cat with bright amber eyes and a fluffy light-grey tail. She is a very slender and fluffy cat with a scar down her right side from falling out of a tree as a kit. Her fur is almost always dusty and many cats wonder if she's really white under all that grey. Personality: Snowpaw is a bright and curious she-cat who, despite choosing the path of a warrior, is very interested in learning about herbs and healing. She is kind to any cat she meets and fiercely loyal to her clan but she has a tendency to voice her opinions without thinking, sometimes getting her in trouble with the older cats. She does act odd at times though and likes sneaking off by herself, often at night while her clanmates are sleeping, but she refuses to tell anyone what she does out there or where she goes. History: Snowpaw was born into the clan and grew up with her mother and two littermates, her father having died before she was born. Her littermates disappeared when they were three moons old and no one knows what happened to them but her mother became fiercely protective of her last kit. Snowpaw wasn't allowed to play with the other kits as often as she would have liked and her mother fretted constantly over her safety. Her mother died from greencough shortly after Snowpaw became an apprentice and since then she has taken to exploring the medicine den and healing herbs. Regardless of her interest in the medicine though she refuses to give up being a warrior.

Name: Shadowtooth Gender: Tom Age: 195 moons Rank: Elder Appearance: Shadowtooth is a dark grey tabby tom with dark amber eyes and a lighter chest. His tail is three inches shorter than it should be, bitten off by a fox when he was an apprentice, and his right hind leg is slightly twisted, giving him a slight handicap though it didn't deter him from his duties while he was a warrior. His tabby stripes are a dark brownish-grey while the lighter layer is a soft silvery-grey. Personality: Shadowtooth was nearly fearless, jumping in front of danger without much thought for his own safety, but he's also loyal to his clanmates and ready to defend them. He can seem angry and grumpy around the younger cats, always issuing orders as if he was the clan leader, but he has a soft spot for kits and has always wondered if he should raise some of his own, not that he found a mate after his first passed. As an elder he's mellowed out some but is still quick to take action when necessary. History: Shadowtooth grew up normally in the clan but always had a tendency to get himself into trouble. He mellowed out some when he met his mate shortly after earning his warrior name and he settled down with her for several moons. His clanmates teased him about how much time he spent in the nursery when his mate announced she was expecting. But disaster struck, while he had been ignoring his warrior duties a small group of foxes had moved into the clan territory and attacked the camp. The fox band managed to sneak into the nursery and wrecked havoc, wounding most of the queens and killing his mate. Since then Shadowtooth has been extra cautious, always alert for the first sign of trouble and faithfully keeping up with his duties until his bad leg finally forced him to retire to the elder's den.

Name: Senka Clan Name: Forestpool Gender: She-Cat Age: 33 moons Rank: Running With The Wind Mark of Destiny: Shadow of a Lavender Leaf Appearance: Senka was a tawny-pelted bengal she-cat with bright green eyes and darker rings around her tail. She had a white chin and board stripe down her back that was darker than most of her fur. The rest of her pelt, minus her tail and chest, was spotted in a slightly darker shade. Her chest was much lighter than the rest of her body and she had a scar above her left eye, barely missing the eye itself. Her right ear was slightly tattered and she had another scar across her left shoulder that sometimes paralyzes that leg. After her passing her spirit joined the traveler's version of StarClan and her appearance took on a more silvery sheen should she be seen. Personality: Senka was a loner by nature and had a tendency to avoid other cats, often unconsciously. She didn't speak much and many that first come across her take her to be a mute, which was fine by her if it kept them from asking questions. She slinked around, constantly watching other cats and sticking to the shadows. Once you actually got to know her though she was a kind and generous cat, often feeding others before herself. It was this part of her nature that led to her death when she put the needs of a clan above her own. History: Senka was raised by her mother while a young kit but was eventually stolen away by twolegs. She lived with them for a time but could never stomach the kittypet lifestyle so she fled the nest and has pretty much been running ever since. She has spoken to clan cats in the past, cats from many different clans that she passed, but she was always uncertain about joining their stationary lifestyle. It was in her early running that she first came across the strange network of traveling loners and 'joined' them as it were. Learning their unique customs and laws took several years but she had finally found where she belonged. Mate: Stray, a wild tom that lived in one of the cities. Kits: Trix, Drake, Nala, & Tiger Other: She died in her journeys at 27 moons, leaving her kits to fend for themself in the network.

Name: Trix Clan Name: Foxshadow Gender: She-Cat Age: 15 moons Rank: Traveling Loner Mark of Destiny: Scent of an Abandoned Den Appearance: Trix is a long-haired she-cat with a bushy tail and a russet-colored pelt that reminds others of foxes. Her eyes are a dark amber-brown but they are completely blind, a scar visible over the right one. Her pelt has darker stripes through it, resembling her mother's, but she has none of Senka spots. Her chest is a lighter shade of red than the rest of her fur and a long scar runs across it. Personality: Trix is more open around other cats than her mother but she still avoids them whenever she can. Like many traveling loners she has a love of high places and would live her whole life off the ground given the chance. She has a bad habit of speaking her mind without thinking of the cats around her and this can lead her to trouble, though she has gotten better since her mother's death. History: Trix was raised by her father for a short time before joining Senka in her travels but the mother and daughter were often at odds with each other. When Trix turned six moons old she took off on her own to search for her 'destiny mark,' a traveler tradition to let young cats start on their own much like a clan apprentice. After living on her own for several moons she tracked her mother down again in clan territory and was the only of Senka's kits to witness their mother's death and carry out the traveling wind tradition for her. After spending a moon or so with that clan she took off again and has recently met up with her siblings prior to their official recognition by the traveler's council. Other: Child of the late traveler Senka, blind from kithood, curses in canine (picked up from twoleg dogs), and like all travelers has learned the codes of the howling network.

Name: Drake Clan Name: Darkflame Gender: Tom Age: 15 moons Rank: Traveling Loner Mark of Destiny: Flick of a Lizard's Tongue Appearance: Drake is a short-haired, dark pelted bengal tom with bright amber eyes and lighter fur along his chest and belly. Like his mother his pelt is covered in spots but his are a deep black in color surrounded by a lighter grey. He is broad shouldered and the largest of Senka's kits. A scar can be found on his right side from defending his siblings when they lived with their father. Personality: Drake has a very defensive attitude, becoming very possessive of anything that he cares about and almost always follows 'fight-first-talk-later' which is unusual for a traveler. He picked this up mostly because of his blind sister and his travels through rogue lands, but he stays true to the customs and protections of travelers. When not feeling threatened he softens somewhat and even enjoys sharing traveler customs with others. History: Like all of Senka's kits he spent his early years with his father before joining his mother in her travels and learning the life of a traveler. After leaving for his 'destiny mark' journey he was the first to find his mark and rose in the traveler community as a leader and defender of their traditions. Of the siblings he is the least versed in clan-customs and has spent most of his travels through rough wild-lands where the only other cats he came across were rogues and fellow travelers. After hearing about his mother's death through the 'howling network', he changed course to meet up with his siblings. Name: Tiger Clan Name: Tigertooth Gender: Tom Age: 15 moons Rank: Traveling Loner Mark of Destiny: Sound of a Rat's Flight Appearance: Tiger is a light orange tabby with dark hazel eyes and a white patch at the end of his muzzle. His left hind-leg is slightly twisted, several scars visible along the leg and hip area. The damage sometimes impends his movement but he does his best to hide it except around his siblings. Personality: Tiger is probably the friendliest of the siblings and enjoys talking with other cats. He can be clumsy at times and has a habit of getting into trouble just by falling into it. Unlike most travelers he has a fear of heights and doesn't enjoy when he has to climb trees to avoid others. History: Like all of Senka's kits he spent his early years with his father before joining his mother in her travels and learning the life of a traveler. After leaving for his 'destiny mark' journey he was the last to find his mark, only achieving full traveler status a moon ago. Most of his journeys were through twoleg territory and he spent most of his time talking with kittypets and stealing milk from the twolegs. Name: Nala Clan Name: Riverbubble Gender: She-Cat Age: 15 moons Rank: Traveling Loner Mark of Destiny: Shade of a Willow Tree Appearance: Nala is a blue-grey tabby with a white chest/belly area and bright blue-green eyes. Unlike her siblings she has no major scars, the only notable one being a small scratch on her right shoulder from squeezing through a metal fence. Her tail is, however, slightly crooked at the end since birth. Personality: Nala is the least talkative of the siblings, taking after her mother in personality if not appearance. She tends to stick to the shadows and observe others instead of directly interacting with them and many believe her to be mute. She doesn't even speak around her siblings and uses her crooked tail in a means of communication only they understand. History: Like all of Senka's kits she spent her early years with her father before joining her mother in her travels and learning the life of a traveler. After leaving for her 'destiny mark' journey she took to a quiet lifestyle, spending much of her time in the treetops watching the different groups interact. Name: Nixie Gender: Female Faction: Loner Breed: Boykin Spaniel & Basenji Mix Appearance: She's a medium-sized dog with a silky brown short-haired coat, and has a scattering of lighter hairs across her chest and front legs. Her ears are long and floppy with lighter, longer curling fur typical of spaniels and her tail is short and usually curled against her back with a lighter underside. Eye Color: Dark Amber Backstory: As a pup she worked on a small cruise ship as a companion to one of the chefs and generally spent her early days fetching supplies for the humans. By the time she reached her full size though that human was kicked off the ship and they made due traveling along the coast. One day though she came back from hunting to their little temporary camp and he was gone, she never saw her human again or any other humans for that matter. She became a loner after that, sticking close to the water and warning off anything that got too close. Personality: Intelligent, Alert, Aloof, Possessive, & Irritable What is their greatest strength?: She's fast in water, whether she's just running in the shallows or actually swimming under the surf, and capable of actually breathing under it for hours at a time. She's also skilled at hunting and retrieving with a good idea of what's safe and what's not. What is their greatest weakness?: She does not do well away from water, her life spent traveling along the coast and living on the fringes of water has made her dependent upon it to survive. If forced away from it for porlonged periods she becomes sluggish, her body refusing to move right, and she has trouble breathing that becomes worse if she can't soak. She's also antisocial and usually skittish around other dogs, but she's quick to pick a fight to protect what she deems hers. What is their motivation?: Mainly to survive, deep down she's gentle and tired of her life of solitude but she'd never admit to such weakness. She only seems interested in maintaining her personal 'territory' and staying near the ocean. Family: None Other: Lives in a decent-sized tidal pool surrounded by rockier parts of the shore on the fringes of Coast territory, few other dogs would dare to climb down into it due to the dangerous cliffs, and she generally gets her food from the sea.

Name: Enya Gender: Female Faction: City Breed: Norfolk Terrier Appearance: She's a small, short dog with reddish-brown fur and darker spots along her back and right side. Her right ear is nicked, leaving a small 'v' near the bottom edge, and her tail is chopped off at an odd angle from escaping their humans' nest. Eye Color: Dark Backstory: Raised by humans as a pup, she lived with a small human family in the city and when they adopted Bear she became something of a big sister to him, doing her best to keep him out of trouble. Life with the humans was great but one day they didn't come home, leaving the siblings to fend for themselves. She took to hunting then, mostly small vermin around the city, and they stayed in their humans' nest until it collapsed on top of them. Bear got out mostly unscathed, a little bruised but in one piece, but she wasn't as lucky. Her backend got caught under some of the rumble and in her efforts to free herself she lost half her tail and a small chunk of her right ear. After losing their home they chanced upon the pack and decided it would be safer living in a larger group. Personality: Adventurous, Caring, Protective, Spirited, & Loyal What is their greatest strength?: She's a good hunter, skilled at flushing out vermin, and capable of picking up speed in short bursts. She's also fiercely loyal to anyone she deems a friend and won't hesitate to try and help out to the best of her abilities. What is their greatest weakness?: She tires quickly when she uses her speed and has to consume more food to maintain her energy despite her small size. She's also somewhat over-protective of her brother and prone to panicking when she can't find him. What is their motivation?: Her main goal is to keep her brother safe, anything else comes after that, but she'll also protect her pack. Family: Brother Bear Other: Likes to sleep on top of Bear so she can keep track of him.

Name: Bear Gender: Male Faction: City Breed: Newfoundland Mix Appearance: He's a large dog with long dark grey fur and a small white spot on his chest. He also has a scattering of white hairs around his left front paw and his tail-tip. Eye Color: Dark Backstory: Grew up with Enya and a human family until they disappeared. The siblings stayed in the nest even without the humans though, waiting for them to someday come home, and Enya took to providing food. He was never very good with hunting but he'd occasionally help her when heavier lifting was required. After their nest collapsed and they joined the pack he helped nurse her back to full health. Personality: Gentle, Distractible, Impulsive, Observant, & Friendly What is their greatest strength?: He's very observant, generally picking up on things that others miss, and good at rummaging through the city debris. He can also blend into his surroundings if he stays still long enough, a form of camouflage that makes him almost invisible until he moves again. What is their greatest weakness?: He doesn't like to speak out and prefers to let his sister handle things which often leads him to trouble when she's out hunting and he's left alone. He's also a bit absent-minded and has a tendency to zone out randomly, still picking up the little details but not really focusing on them, and this leads to him 'disappearing' at times. When this happens it often takes some sharp nips or forceful shoving to regain his attention. What is their motivation?: Staying with his sister and maybe finding their humans again. Name: Hawk Gender: Male Faction: Coast Breed: Belgian Malinois Appearance: He's a medium-sized dog with short tanish fur and darker tips. His muzzle and ears are nearly black in color with noticeable scars from his early work and he has a small white stripe down his chest. Eye Color: Brown Backstory: He spent his early life as a tracker alongside humans, rarely the same one twice, until he got too close to a knife. He had wandered away from his handler and found himself a little too close to the suspect they were tracking. He managed to disarm the 'bad' human but received several slashes along his muzzle. Thankfully the wounds healed without permanent disfigurement or damage to his senses but he was never given the chance to work again. After the humans disappeared he found himself out near the bay and settled in with the other dogs there. Personality: Stubborn, Hardworking, Reactive, Energetic, & Tough What is their greatest strength?: He has heightened senses, especially scent, and can generally keep track of others from a distance. He also has a sixth sense of a sort that lets him pick up on the emotions of those around him, and extensive training in police work and tracking. What is their greatest weakness?: His heightened senses make him very vulnerable to overstimulation and at times he has to just curl into a ball and shut the world out. This is especially bad with smell and any change to the environment can send him over the edge. During these times he can become very irritable and snap at those around him without meaning to. What is their motivation?: He doesn't seem to have any clear motivation, he just really wants a stable routine to give him something to do. Family: None Other: He keeps a small cloth tied around his right front leg that he keeps coated with a strong scent of the sea, this is to help him relax and focus when things get to be too much.
