Meant to post earlier but I've been out of it for a bit, which is why I'm doing a lazy gem hunt and not much else. Aside from keeping up my living dex of course, no sense in letting that slide even if I am only filling in the evos for now. Finally got an avi with both Kitty and Emesh, I was avoiding that for a while because multi-charries don't really do well in a tight space. I like ezpups' style though and it didn't shrink too bad, maybe a little off on Emesh's necklace but eh~ Their relationship is also weird but I don't know, they don't really feel complete by themselves? Can I call them moirails?
Anyway I have no idea where that was going, I wanted to do a spill on the Valentine's event but I don't really feel like doing the whole thing this time. It's also a month late but whatever, I really liked the return of teddibear. That was my first exclusive on PF1 and just kinda important I guess? Even if I can't have a nice purple shiny now, meh hide boxes are mainly for labelling.
There was something else on my mind though, whatever it's gone now. Anyway after my last pair sorting, where I now have pairs for almost every unown, I decided to maybe open an actual breeding/eggdex section to my shop? I'm still nervous, part of the reason I never 'officially' added it before (not that I haven't been doing a little on the side though), but there's still that part of me that wants to help. Which is why I'm running a poll to gauge interest before I actually move into it, pair loaning is a little less 'controllable' than basic dexing. I'm rambling though and I think this post is long enough, Kitty Out~

Valentine's Event
So Valentine's, not my favorite day...granted it's not my least either. That's reserved for 'sad days', no need to go into that. I just don't really get the cutesy hearts everywhere and the need for coupling, it's just so weird. Not that I'm against 'love' or anything, just...eh.
Emesh was down at the contest hall again so it was kinda up to me to go into town for supplies which is how I came across Flaroptera, poor thing was freaking out. I mind speak 'pokémon' or whatever you call the langauge but different species have different dialects alright? And admittedly I suck at PFQ's dialect, it's just so much different than Kanto where I grew up.
Detracting though, I couldn't understand Flaroptera but I wanted to help and so with a little translating from others we ended up on a walk together. The walk was tiring, I wondered sometimes why he didn't just fly but it was also kinda relaxing? I helped him put together a gift for Avaragon afterwards, only for it to be quickly snatched away by a troublesome bandicoon. I wanted to hunt it down and tear into the little nuisance but Flaroptera needed me more.
This happened a few more times, the walks getting progressively longer, before we finally found a gift that 'Swiper' approved of. Heh, that nickname kinda stuck, and I guess I at least got the message in the end. Still hope Sei catches that little troublemaker, stealing and tormenting Flaroptera was not the right thing to do even if it did work itself out in the end.
Niet's little tribute was nice too, I got myself a nice little blue flower and then went home to crash snuggled up with my new teddibear and a small pile of sweets. Still not my favorite holiday but Emesh loved hearing the story afterwards, even made me my favorite dinner and joined me for a moive night.
