she claims she was blessed with it by a mysterious being known as Discord and it is the element of chaos..
regardless of where its from it does grant her strange powers such the ability to temporary tap into the different eeveelutions and other seemingly spontaneous magic... (it's recommended you not touch the gem however the last person to try was turned into a magikarp for a week)
