Hi there! My name is Woodlouse- I'm an amateur conservationist of bug-type pokemon. I believe most bug types, when consigned to the shelter or released to the wild, are done so too early on in the bug's development, and can have serious issues with their socialization and Effort Values. So I have taken it upon myself to create a safe, beautiful space for these wonderful creatures. Captive-bred pokemon can often be vulnerable in the wild due to their lack of socialization! If you no longer wish to have a bug type pokemon in your life, I understand! But consider it's development- if your pokemon is underdeveloped in any capacity, consider consigning them to me instead of releasing them to mass-market shelters or the wild.
The Bug Nest
The Bug Nest is a collective of my personally bred or hatched Pokemon! Pokemon that I have a special bond with, or simply unique buggies that I love to look at stay here. It's not necessarily 'preferential treatment,' I just like having a place to look at them. Feel free to browse!
Those Consigned
When a Pokemon is initially consigned, it can have serious issues getting along with other pokemon in their fields. This is an 'isolation chamber,' so to speak; a place for them to acclimate to the presence of other Pokemon before they are moved to the wider fields. This is done to prevent fights or unhappiness in the fields.
Ready for Release
Though I hate to say it, I cannot keep every Bug-Type Pokemon forever. I am just one person, and such wonderful creatures belong in the wild! I have done my best to acclimate them to their environments, but these noble creatures deserve a chance to have their best life, be it in the wild or in the arms of a trainer willing to see their truest potential in a wonderful new friend. Pokemon in the Ready for Release field are kept until the day rolls over-- if you see one you like, contact me! I would love to see it get the love it deserves.
Do You Trade?
Yes! With a few conditions. For one, I am not interested in any Pokemon you have to offer if they are not at least partially a Bug Type. There are very few exceptions to this! However, if you believe that a Pokemon that is *not* bug type is buggy enough to be within my walls, I will be glad to hear you out-- but likely not enought to go through with the trade. My NOs are final! I do not care what Legendary you have to offer me.. unless it is Genesect. He is a cutie pie. But all in all, I am more interested in taking on unwanted bug-types than 'glamour trading' between others.
