With not only official Pokemon and their shinies but megas, totems, albinos, melanistic Pokemon, and fan-made Pokemon, there are thousands of Pokemon to collect and always something new to aim for, with awards even being given out for certain Pokedex milestones. Additionally, the community in this game from what I've seen is quite kind and accepting, making the game accepting towards anyone who would like to play, regardless of who they are.
