Reasons for not gifting on demand: 1st) It is intentional game design that you dont just get a Legendary and or Shiny right from the start. Progression and work in order to achieve your goal is key. If I just gift you the shiny/ Legendary Pokemon, I kind of prevent you from certain Milestones that are ment to be rewarding! 2nd) I have to be fair to everyone and cannot just give things to everyone. 3rd) It is rude to ask for gifts. A gift is meant to be a nice, not a demanded thing!
