Base Base stats The base stats are specific to the Pokémon species. Every individial Pokémon of the same species will have the same base stats, and this determines how good a species in general will be in certain areas. IVs Individual Values [IVs] IVs can be thought of as the individual Pokémon's genetics. They are unique to the individual and cannot be changed. EVs Effort Values [EVs] EVs are points gained by the Pokémon through effort and training. By visiting the Dojo, you can use Training Bags to power up. This is the only number you can directly affect.
