OK so I've been wanting to make a journal for the last couple of days, so here I am! Let's see how long I'll last. Hi, I'm Dove (a nickname) and I've been playing pokémon since fire red, when I was around 7 I think. I'm a non-native English speaker. I like playing video games (a lot of different games except for shooter/fighting games) and reading (I just started again this year and I can't BELIEVE that I slept on reading for over 10 years. I've currently read 46 books in 2021, but I have a lot more on my reading list. My absolute favorite book is Six of Crows, feel free to send me a PM asking questions about it if you want to know if it's something for you (or if you just want to talk about the book with me!!!!). I just found my way back to pokéfarm after about 1.5 year, and in 2020 I was apparently busy hatching sobble eggs and hoping for a melan, so I pretty much just decided to stick to it. So far, I've had pretty good albino luck (I think, I've only been back for maybe 3 weeks do I'm still getting the hang of everything), but my shiny luck has been pretty horrid. So my albino chances have been 25/1542, so around 1.6% chance (wow I thought it was higher actually), and my shiny chances are only 8/1542, so around 0.5% (which seems craaazy low). I got my first two troll parties yesterday, which was actually a positive thing since I felt like my shiny odds are so low, and I though that maybe it almost wasn't possible to even get a shiny and an albino in the same party. I really hope I'll get a melan sobble soon, since I want to try and get Arceus rank here, and I need to hatch a looot of new pokémon to do that. Let's hope that the two troll parties are a good indicator :)

Wow I've never had luck like this, I've hatched 5 albino's within a day now, and 1 shiny. Let's hope this means the melan is close!!

Ahhhh!!! I'm about to hatch 187 sobbles which will hatch so fast! I've also activated a shiny charm, so let's hope for the melan!!

Alright, so far I've hatched 5 albinos and 2 shinies, all in different parties though. I'll probably also be using my 60 day care passes I have today, just in case. I also finished listening to On the way to the wedding by Julia Quinn, the final Bridgerton book. I was getting kind of sick of reading the same formula for the eight time, but this one was actually probably one of my favorites (for once no one was being mean to each other for no reason lol).

Alright so I got around 15 specials today I think, maybe 10 albinos and 5 shinies, which is pretty good! Unfortunately 0 melans in a bit more than 250 hatches today, which is definitely a bit disappointing (I really just want the melan to quit this hunt and get onto getting Arceus rank ahh)

Some future hunts I want to do (so many of the melans look so cool omg): (the unova melan's have NO reason to all look this good omg?? I LOVE how so many of them are black with a lighter color??) I definitely have a type don't I... To be added

This is the most interactions I've ever done, which is exciting! No clue how people go over 100k though, that would have to take up your entire day!

Maaaan it sucks to pretty much expect a melan or special every single time lol, I can't keep my expectations low and so I get disappointed all the time. I can't even get a shiny atm with the übercharm and shiny charm charged, so I'm not sure how I'm ever going to get a melan!?!? Have some mercy Sally pls

Ooooh~ just hatched twin albino dreepys during the type race!
