Transforming Fields

I was thinking..buying fields gets to be rather expensive and I thought that maybe it would be nice to have a feature that turns one field type into another. For example, let's say you have a Typeless Field and you need a Rock Type Field but you cannot afford to buy an additional field so why not have a feature that lets you turn that Type-less Field into one that you want for a fee that is FAR less than buying another. Just an idea.......

I'm on the fence about this one. I get why the previous thread was rejected, but adding a fee to the process might balance it out a bit. Maybe the cost could be ~50-75% of the price of a new field? It would be a lot less tedious than, say, selling the field you want to replace and buying a new one, and imposing a fee could make the cost roughly the same. So... tentatively support, I guess?

Support for this for two reasons: a) The reason stated for this suggestion are wildly different than the the quoted post (Not paying attention vs. streamlining an issue), so I don't think that saying "oh, this relatively similar post got rejected, so" is valid. b) The suggestion itself is not the same. The quoted post says that they want complete refund or free exchange of field for like a minute. This post wants to be able to convert fields at a cost. Which, if you think about it, is not only different, but reasonable. If a cost was involved I would say 5 medium gems of the given type plus half of the value of the next field that you would buy.

Oh well then PLEASE excuse me for having the audacity to post something that was supposedly already suggested and please, PLEASE excuse me for not wanting to sift through hundreds of threads either. I am so SORRY for bothering you with my silly little post! Thanks to all who replied and didn't berate me for not persusing the "Rejected Ideas" forum (Now I am reminded why I avoid forums)

I am assuming that was directed at me. That's fine..I was not irritated because someone rejected my idea, I was a tad irked at being chided in a forum simply because I did not "search" the forum. Nothing more....thanks. :)

If you want a fee for changing a field type, then congrats you already have one: buying a new field. Sell the one you accidentally bought, and buy your new one. @Ryu-25000: Generally, heavy sarcasm makes you look childish. If you react poorly to honest advice (while also not replying to any other post), you take a lot of credibility away from your suggestion. Having a good attitude extends beyond just your reaction to being rejected or accepted.
