New month! This will be the start of my first full month back since my hiatus. Last month was very productive, but I only had half the month since I returned partway through January. I'm excited to see how the February recap is going to go this month with all 28 days accounted for. I'm also going to attempt to write something in this journal daily. It will probably be a lot of "this day was boring" but that's fine. I've enver been good at keepin a journal, but maybe I can keep a good journal for PFQ :)

February 2 2023

I had an easy day at work, so I had more time to work on art commissions and clicking today. I will be pretty busy the next two weeks and I know I'm going to miss having a break like this haha. I've also gotten the first page of my comic up after...a year? I missed working on this thing so much, even if I put in so much detail that it's a pain in my butt. I like how my style has changed :)

Very shortly after reset, I got rus and also hatched this little guy!! Sooo happy that I finally hatched my second melan. It has been a pain in my butt trying to get another one haha. Definitely not the worst chain, though. I think I've also decided that I will continue my jirachi hunt for the Psychic type race that is coming up. It'll be a great way to get a lot of points and seeing the shinies and albinos (even if they are rare) will be exciting since it's legendaries! ...If Sally gives me a 300 hatch drought from specials, I shall cry LOL.

I've been getting pretty lucky with rus lately! Normally I am lucky to get 2 in one day, but I've been averaging 2 or 3 each day for the past week...even to the point that the day I only got 1 rus I said I was unlucky LOL. I'm glad Sally likes me more to give me rus more often. It's probably because I've been extra diligent in my field clicks every day. I forget how easy it is to fall into some good PFQ routine. I really do like the mindless clicking to fill my time while I watch videos and whatnot :) Only slightly related to that, Niet proposed a while back that PFNew would do away with field clicks...I hope that does not turn out to be true. The mindless field clicking is what draws me to the game! Even if it isn't as much the focus somehow, I hope it still exists just for the randomness of clicking.

It's a Niet day :D Frustrating when Niet days fall between Ravyne and Shazi days, but I'll take it where I get it <3 Hunting Axew has been frustrating since I can almost never hatch all my shelter eggs due to the high EHP, but on Niet days I can hatch all of them and more! Maybe I'll even get lucky and hatch another melan...though I doubt it! EDIT: Sally I did NOT mean that as a challenge but thank you xD EDIT2: SALLY??? I promise I did not mean it as a challenge!

Pretty quiet day for me in regards to PFQ...new big project at work that is going to take up a lot of my day time this week, so I'll really only get a couple hours each day to click. That's all right though. Since Sally gave me the melans I wanted, I'm feeling a lot more casual about this hunt :) I'll continue it until the TR and then leave it. I'll probably break the chain and just start a new dragon hunt (Bagon maybe?) when I want to continue getting wishalloy.

Yet another Shazi day that is going to go to waste...I can't wait until I am hatching low EHP eggs again and so shazi days actually feel productive haha. If I were to not count the egg timer or party clicks, to get all of my hatches on a regular day, I'd have to click...300,000 times. Which. Whoa! Never going to manage that! lol. I'll do my best to get as many hatched as I can, but I'm still busy at work this week, so I probably won't hatch more than passive parties tomorrow.

Super boring day today. Mostly just been work work work! But at least I'm making more progress. I've been enjoying unwinding with PFQ in the evenings. Forgot what a nice relaxing acivity clicking is :)

Got over the biggest hurdle for my project at work! Doesn't mean I will have less to do exactly, but hopefully it will be less stressful the rest of the week. And that means more time spent for PFQ! I need to continue working on my PFQ commissions...I've just been too exhausted after work to do anything.

Ah finally, the week is nearly done! The Type Race starts on Sunday too...we are so close to it! :) I'm very very excited. I have to finish up my axew eggs and then I'm going to be hunting Jirachi again! I just need to hatch...what...100 eggs? I'll probably end up releasing some, but at least I have a new hunt to look forward to. I'm going to also be doing a melan race with Cinis after the type race, where we will be hunting Bagon. Whoever hatches Sally first wins!

I got a majority of my eggs hatched for the end of my axew hunt! Didn't get anything special by the end, but I'm excited to start jirachi so that's fine :) I'm disappointed that the v-wave for the TR is primarily steel and ice...great for me with steel because of jirachi, but 3 ice days? Seriously?

I'm already over 2000 points lol! Nearly 100 jirachis hatched as I'm writing this and still a couple hours left before reset. We'll have a niet day tomorrow, so I'm optimistic that I'll get even more hatched. I'm disappointed at the lack of specials I've hatched, though. The new special rates can really be felt when I know that every egg is 20ZC down the drain.

Sally really likes me today for rus, which I'm grateful for on a x2.5 Niet day! I just wish she would like me enough to give me a melan. Come on Sally, please? For me? <3
