Infinite Cloud

How gloomy. A wide, dark eye is wide towards the sky, rain pelting down as clothes drip. What felt like hours was only a few minutes and yet, he is completely soaked, his long hair feels heavy, the decoration near the bottom weighing him down but still he stands still, letting cold drops pelt against his skin. "See...th-the rain is nice..." He shivers, the chill nearly reaching his bones, trembling as he still looks up at the sky. It feels like the rain would never go away, and with a mournful gaze, he looks to his hands and shakes his head. "But...I don't really like getting wet..." He closes his eye for a moment and lets his gaze wander, spotting an awning just a few quick steps away, one he had not noticed before. He steps underneath. The plinks against the overhead awning never stop. "Wha...what in the world?" He gazes out and puddles continue to splash, the clouds still grey. "No I...I went under the awning, it was supposed to stop raining. Why...Why is it still raining?" Tears fall down his face, cheeks burning a purplish-red hue, lips quivering as he drops to his knees. His long hair drapes over his face, then into a below puddle as he whispers to himself quietly. "I did what I was supposed to..." A bell tolls and many figures come out of the building, ignoring the mourning tiefling as they are absorbed within their own grief and then after everyone is gone, he is still there, no longer crying yet feeling so empty. "It's not fair..."
