Single post in Proposal to Rename Albino and Melanistic Pokemon

I like the name Stygian for Melanistic pokemon. I also like the name Erebos. But I fear that neither name would work for what your looking for as Stygian came to refer to things as being dark, dismal and murky while Styx, for which the name Stygian was born from, was known for being the personification of hatred despite being the goddess of Oaths, while Erebos is the personification of Darkness. However, Erebos could be a good name when taking into account the pokemon's rarity due to erebos being thought of as one of the first beings in existance according to Greek Mythology as he was born of Chaos, the first diety. I was also thinking, for Albino pokemon, what about the name Virgil? It's a name that is usually reserved for good poets. Another name could be Valour or Valor as this means 'great acts of courage in the face of danger'. I know it doesn't show any meaning in terms of the light colouration of the pokemon, but it could show their strengths.
