Animal Crossing New Horizons Log
As I thought, i don't play enough any more to make this a weekly thing. So here are some general updates on everything.
Ed finally moved out, and in return I got Merengue. To be honest, I wanted to keep searching but I was really tired because it was rather late. Now I have three normal villagers, plus the three smug ones, it does get a bit boring when everyone is just the same. At least they all seem to get along quite well.
There has been some progress regarding the island layout. I've been spending a good amount of time on the island designer until I finally came up with an idea. I am now like one third done with the redesign and I hate it so much already. I just want to stop. But I cannot just leave it like this, it's a mess. So I have to keep going, finish it, then demolish everything again I guess. Why is this so hard for me to do?

Honestly the worst about everything are the flowers. I haven't payed much attention to them and now there are millions! I used up so many shovels aready, I wish there was an easier way to get rid of them. Maybe a lawn mower or something. Or just being able to pick them up while in construction mode. That'd be neat.
I also took a break from the turnip business, the few times I checked the prices at the nooklings, they were very low.
I didn't catch any new fish, in fact I did not go fishing at all. So far I did not miss out on any fish yet, but I might have to devote a day to this chore at some point this month. Just to fill up the critterpedia a bit more.
The bug hunt on the other hand is going very well, I commissioned a model of a Queen Alexandra's Birdwing from Flick the other day, and it's gorgeous. Though I do have a feeling that Blathers doesn't like me that much anymore, considering all I give to him are insects...
