Day 22
Isabelle, if you got nothing to say, then say nothing please. I don't want to listen to your pointless chatter. Ugh... Todays goals: Work on the area at the right side of the river, try to catch a tuna and blue marlin. I actually managed to catch them both in the end, it only took roughly 50 fish bait. I didn't expect to be done so quickly, figured it would take a few days. There's not a lot of progress on the right side of town, that path making isn't as easy as for the main area. I just cannot seem to find a good layout despite being able to change the lay of the land. Ah well, I'll figure something out eventually.Day 23
Todays goals: Continue working on the the area right of the river, find a place for a tenth villager house. Befriend the duck, horse and cow to make them move out faster. (sigh) Actually made some progress on my town. Also reached 100+ points in the fishing tournament. Doesn't look like they have any neat furniture to give out anymore though, that's a shame. I don't think it's worth putting up with C.J. for that. Every time I talk to him, I dislike him more. So very annoying. Now that that's over I do not have any hopes left for the bug off. It's going to be bad, with bad rewards. But then again I never really cared about the whole stuff in the old games either. The furniture was fun to collect though. At least that's one thing less to worry about for me. Also one less thing to do in this game. The things I am enjoying are getting less every day. I guess it's time to consider moving on to a different game. With the current situation though I do not have any money to spare at all.Day 24
Cherry, it's great to see that you have a hobby but please, for the sake of all of us, DO NOT SING OUTDOORS. STAY INSIDE IF YOU WANT TO SING. INSIDE OF YOUR OWN HOUSE. WITH THE WINDOWS SHUT. AND THE DOOR LOCKED. geez... The bunny is being annoying as well. But at least they'll be gone by tomorrow. Bought 3800 turnips for 94 bells each = 357.200 bells, just to make a bit of a profit for future inclines and bridges. Todays to-do: Move the apple trees to a different location to make some space for paths and things. Catch some more bugs for future models? Maybe. Caught a lot of atlas moths, they're quite pretty. The apple trees have been moved to a temporary location, I have to figure something out for them another time. Apart from that, construction is going well. The pathway is set up almost completely, flowerareas have been marked and I decided to remove a lot of trees completely for some more visibility. Found my 100th fossil today. Huh. Also finally some orange tulips and pansies. Have to update my table within the next days.Day 25
Turnip prices: 82 bells, 77 bells I gave in and ordered a house extension. I got the money, and I will get used to having a big house eventually. Hit a wall on the decoration of my right island half. There's just nothing that I'd like to put there. The nooklings only sold me indoor furniture so far and the things offered by the nook mileage program are of no interest to me. Guess now there's nothing but to wait.Day 26
Turnip prices: ??? bells, 118 bells (100 top, 23 apples, 9 house, 10 signs, 50 waterfall, 10 left, 5 bamboo, 5 bridge, 5 museum, 5 airport, 5 plaza, 7 able, 5 fountain, 6 beach, 5 patty = 250? ) Town is shaping up really well, I got some ideas for what I want to do. I am at 4 star rating so far, really need to get a tenth villager soon. On that note, Gonzo is going to leave. There are lots others that I'd rather see go, but it's fine. Time to see some different animals! Apart from that not much happened today, I changed my mind about the pathways and tree placements so many times that I hardly did anything else really.Day 28
Oh nice, my koala is being replaced by a horse. Can't wait. I checked some islands yesterday but all I found were gorillas and villagers that I had in acnl at some point. Figured I should go with something new, and of course, allowing a random one would result in a horse. I am so lucky! There will be only horses on my island soon! Yay! I keep spending too many bells on clothes that I am never going to wear. Maybe I should build a fence around their store, that might help. Flick was here yesterday and I asked him for a model of an atlas moth; it is huge! I love it. I wish I could ask for multiple models at once so I don't have to wait so long. I have accumulated quite a lot of bugs that are just waiting for the next time he shows up.
