Type Race Update and Albino Chances If you haven't read my previous post about how type race crystals will affect albino chances with a level 8 radar, feel free to view it here The recent update entails that instead of making it a +1 to radar level, it increases albino chances by a further 33%. At lvl 7, you have 16,284.0% buff. [From wiki] Using a z-crystal increases this chance by 33%. The boosted chances =16284%*(1+33%) =21657.72% What does this mean? In my experience, albino chances are about 1 in 200. So with a Z-crystal, the albino chances now become 1 in 150.37594. This is, a HUGE boost, especially to melan chances. Assuming a 1/25 shiny chance and 1/200 albino chance, the previous melan chances were 1 in 5000. (Note that arceus increases BOTH shiny and albino chances, so any chain over 1k with arceus renders void albino chance results.) With a z-crystal, it becomes 1/25*1/150.37594 = 0.000266 = 1 in 3759.3985 Think about it.
