Blocking Option (on players only)

You may think we don't need to block anyone since a lot of people here are very kind but there are some people we meet that just annoy us and we can't do anything about. Of course we won't be able to block staff cos that's unfair for them. I keep getting messages from one farmer that keeps asking to trade currency and I tell them over and over again to not ask and that I don't trade currency but they just ignore me. The blocking option will fix that. If someone you block tries to message you there would be an error saying "this person has blocked you for this reason: the reason". You need to input a reason to block someone cos it's not fair to block someone just cos you can. The bad thing about this is that if the person gets annoyed that you block them and they make a new account just to tell you off, but that's why there's a report option. I think this would help people from getting angry at someone to the point they argue with them and swear at them. I've gotten close to swearing at that one annoying person but try to keep cool since I don't want to upset them. The blocking option would be where the report option is. Just like your VIPs you would get a list of people you have blocked so you don't forget you have people blocked. Thank you for reading.

Rejected 1 Rejected 2 Rejected 3 I'm sure there's more but I don't have time to look them up. If somebody is bothering you report them. Blocking does not solve the issue, it just shoves it under a rug.

Thanks for letting me know, I must of missed them when checking over what has been suggested not what hasn't. Would reporting them do anything? Cos they can just continue messaging me.

Reporting them will get the mods involved. And if they don't stop, then the mods can silence them or even ban them temporarily.

Alright, I guess I'm just afraid of being the one who gets in trouble since they might think of it as a small problem and I'm just pestering them.

It's a common fear, but the staff have always been quite friendly. You'd have to do A LOT of pestering to get in trouble. one or two misreports most likely won't be a problem, you'll just get a little explanation as to why what was reported is not a problem and then you'll know for next time.

Trust me, a member harrassing another isn't something the staff would be annoyed with handling ^^ Unless you're constantly filing false reports [you can always check the rules before each report to be sure you're not flagging something that isn't rule breaking] you're fine.

But would my problem be harassment? Well I know I wouldn't do so many false reports since I feel bad just by making one report.

If you've told them to stop, and they refuse to stop, then yes. It's considered harassment.
