Chimera frantically glanced around. Where was he? What happened to his tired but excited owner? He looked over at one of his hundreds of Sobble kin. His owner had gotten a black Sobble. For some reason, she (and others) valued dark greens and blacks more than cyan blues and powder pinks. That made him really miserable.
He was suddenly picked up by his owner and moved to a different area, the arc said it was the "Sale Field". He didn't know what that meant. He didn't want to know. There were lots of others like him, sky blues and pastel pinks with a special glow surrounding him. There were also Pokemon he didn't know. There were shiny jet black and snowy white dragons, and even a pale pink robot!
They looked at him with sympathy in their eyes. "So young, just hatched." They said. One of the blue but not quite normal Sobbles headbutted him, she had a pale green aura. "Hey, at least you're one of us!" She said. "My name's.. well, I don't have a name yet. But naeriie is selling us so we'll have new owners! Hopefully we won't be turned in for DP." She changed moods instantly.
"What's that?" He asked.
"It's when you get handed over to a 'cruel/fickle lizard' named Sally? Apparently she runs the place." The sobble with no name informed him. He nodded. He really wanted an owner to love him. Abruptly, she took his limb, shaking it excitedly, eyes shining. "Look, she's doing it right now!" She exclaimed.
One by one, each Sobble got presented to the crowd. Many looked interested, but they simply didn't have enough money. Some wanted to watch the selling. Some actually bidded on the Sobbles.

It was a few days in, and he hadn't been bidded on yet. He thought he looked nice, I mean with his matching aura.. and he was freshly polished too! Until later that day a person named 'Cherrii' (he didn't know why they called themselves that) bidded on him. The 'starting bid' as they say.
He caught a glimpse of her messy apple red hair and bright green eyes. She looked really young. That was the last time he heard her talk, she went away for a while. But when the day of the selling ended, he didn't see her for a while. His shiny friend already left, he was pretty despirited about that.
But then, she came! Running in after the next day, apologizing profusely. She handed over these boxes of glowing blue and he was handed over from naeriie to Cherrii. She beamed at him and held him close, snuggling him. His heart fluttered. She didn't look like the person to give him to Sally, she looked like she was going to cherish him forever. And he liked that about her.
Immediately she took out a brown book with crinkles on the pages and started writing in it, saying how she got such a perfect 'albino delta.' It was really nice to be known, but he still preferred their private friendship being between them. She gushed about him to her brown haired friend with the green eyes. And her brown haired friend gave him a little pat.
Although he would miss his friend, he would treasure these friendships forever.
