I was trying to describe you to someone a few days ago. You don’t look like any boy I’ve ever seen before. I couldn’t say “Well he looks just like Sebastian Michaelis, except that he’s got chocolate brown hair, and he isn’t quite as tall of course, he’s actually real…” I couldn’t say that because you don’t look like Sebastian Michaelis at all. I finally ended up describing you as the Hawaiian beaches I visited when I was a few years younger than now. I guess I went in 2012 or 2013, somewhere in there. I only remember because that was when a song you enjoy was released. It was a breathtaking sight with crystal clear waters and bright blue skies, even though it rained every day I was there. The white sand and waters buzzing with sea life attracted many other visitors, just as your warmth and friendliness attracts those around you. There were palm trees softly swaying in the wind, just as you are able to stand your ground no matter what life may have for you. The sunset would boast it’s natural colors as you do, unafraid of anyone seeing. And at night the tides would be pulled to the shore by the gentle light of the moon which reminds me of how you may sometimes need a helping hand, you’re able to do anything you put your mind to. They actually say the sea turtle, many of which would swim with people in the ocean, represents opening up to new environments and experimenting with new ideas at your own pace. This reminds me of your cautious nature to think things through entirely, and the way you’re able to adapt to so many changes in your life, even the difficult ones. The sweet pineapples there also remind me of you. Though that’s just because it’s one of your favorites and I would love to see your bright smile if you had one. Their seafood was very fresh too, and though I personally don’t enjoy it I would go there again just to get the best sushi for you. I was fortunate enough to see a wedding on the beach not that far off. When I look back on it now I can’t remember the couple being anyone but us. You’d look much more stunning in that suit, anyway. The salty air, the warm sun, and the sound of people laughing felt like a home I had gone back to after enough years to forget, but I still felt welcomed to after all this time, even though I had never been previously. And that’s how you look to me.
