Named for the Queen of Drag Trap, the fabulously outrageous Yvie Oddly! Also known as the Thrift Queen, her name is derived from her self-description of being "even odder than anyone else," and she has perfected the art of unconventional, even as she was repeatedly referred to as "garbage" for continuing to be thrifty after rising to the status of Drag Queen Superstar. She decided to reclaim that shade and turn it in to art that absolutely slays! "If you refuse to see the ideals behind my choices then it's because you operate from a place of privilege where fashion and drag don't have to speak to your life circumstances, especially not socioeconomically". Hypermobile Ehlers–Danlos syndrome makes it difficult for her to perform and she often has to cut fan meetings short, as her condition causes her bones to literally grind together. She advocates for people with invisible disabilities.
